Stayed at oaklea in mid November 2019 for the weekend, it's so easy to find and access is simple, the owner is charming and obviously very passionate about our planet. You needed wellies as the whole area was flooded due to the amount of rainfall the county had suffered the week prior, this was not a problem as the grounds and woodland walks were superb our cocker Spanial (Oscar) loved it, all the different smells and scents, he didn't quite know what to make of the young deer that crept past us one morning he just stared. I woke both mornings to the sound of owls hooting this place is stunning and we will defonately call again in the spring I bet would be great with the birds and everything starting to bloom, as local gov parks and countryside officer I can understand the amount of passion and hard work the owner has gone to that makes this place so special.
