Very Relaxing Spot

Enjoyed 10 very relaxing nights here. The views are stunning, yet it's very close to Perth, so not far to go for shopping or eating out. As others have mentioned, the baking is beautiful, in fact too good for the waistline! Very friendly owners, spacious pitches and farm animals to keep you entertained. Will definitely go back.

'You take the high road...'

We would echo the comments on here - beautiful view across the Tay (although we caught rather too much wind and rain!) and lovely welcome and conversation with Jean & Andy. Super large and flat pitches. The sheep knew when it was breakfast time(!) and it was lovely to watch the lambs frisk and gambol in the adjacent fields. Comment has been made about the steep access lanes - but this was a breeze compared with our arrival: whatever you do, DO NOT follow your satnav from the A90 - we know now it took us up a near-vertical single-track private road - over speed bumps(!) - and threatened to burn out the clutch! Great value and would recommend.

Fantastic Site

Fantastic CL site. Views are stunning. Pitches are huge. Working farm with sheep, lambs and donkeys. Loved watching the lambs running and jumping. Hut has home baking. Cakes, scones, jam and fresh eggs. ( small charge ) scones are lovely. Access road is narrow and steep but well worth the climb when you reach the top. Would highly recommend.

One of the best CLs

We have just got home after spending ten days on this lovely site. Easy to get to as not far off the A90 and once we got there we just stood and admired the fabulous view. Large hardstanding pitches with plenty of room between. Loved going up to the little hut to see what delicious home baked treats Jean had left there. Great base to visit Dundee, Dunkeld, St Andrews, Pitlochry and many other places or just sit in the sunshine with a glass of wine and enjoy the view. Only a few miles from Perth so very handy for shopping and lovely woodland walks direct from the site. It’s a working farm but it didn’t really disturb us. In fact we loved hearing the donkeys braying and watching the lambs racing around the fields. Jean, Andy and family are really lovely and friendly and make you feel so welcome. Would highly recommend visiting this site.

Stunning Location!

Found this absolute gem of a CL when desperately trying to find somewhere Easter Weekend - and got the last space. Wow it’s just incredible, the views are spectacular, perched on top of a hill overlooking the River Tay. Spotless site and has a wee hut stocked with home baked goodies, cakes, biscuits, jams. Owners are lovely too. This is a working farm so has farm noise but this was absolutely part of the charm. The donkeys braying are loud but kept us entertained for the 2 days! Loved them. This is such a gorgeous place - and we will definitely be back. The access roads are narrow and steep but they are fine. Thanks to the Family there for creating an absolutely gorgeous spot.

Room with a view

We stayed at this CL in June for 8 nights. Large hard standing pitches, shared water and waste between each two pitches. Stunning views over the River Tay and beyond and to the rear plenty of woodland walks. Ideal base for Perth and surrounding area. Little wooden hut on site, stocked with free range eggs and home baking (which were lovely and at a reasonable price). Would definately stay again.

Stunning new site

Beautiful new site with wonderful views and plenty of walks from the door. Owners Andy and Jean very welcoming and friendly. Information hut with eggs and home baking.Lovely peaceful location with views over the Tay and sheep and rolling hills.Just be aware the approach drive is steep but not a problem. Lovely large hardstanding pitches surrounded by short mown grass and EHU and water to each pitch. Brand new chemical disposal point. Just a one night stopover on our way south but would definitely use again to explore Perth and the surrounding area. Easy access to A90 to explore further afield. All in all as the previous reviewers have said a great site!

Beautiful site

I would highly recommend a visit to this site, it is very well maintained, very peaceful and relaxing, with amazing views of the RIver Tay. Some nice biking, and walking, straight from the site. Received a very warm welcome from Jean, and Annie, making us feel like we were visiting friends. All this and fresh eggs for sale in the wee welcome hut! We look forward to another visit to this lovely site.
