Boo and Bob's first caravan adventure!

Mountain View is easy to find, narrow road from the main road, but the local drivers were very accommodating! Serviced pitches well worth the slightly higher cost, no lugging aquarolls or waste containers around! Lovely countryside site, smashing dog walk which is a mowed path around the adjoining field - Boo and Bob thoroughly approved! Mr. and Mrs. Biggs called on us on our second evening to see if everything was okay - which was nice of them. Lovely weekend - THANK YOU.

What a Biggs friendly welcome!!

This was our last stop at the end of our 1st holiday in our Motorhome. Having arrived so late on Saturday (after 8pm) we were just relieved to find the site. We had only booked it an hour or so earlier having felt so unwelcome at Fronheulog cl. We were a little weary from our previous experience but wow what a contrast! The Biggs family (mum, dad, daughter & pet dog) came to the gate to welcome us on arrival, they were so kind & friendly it was like meeting up with long lost friends! Within minutes we were totally rejuvenated and the Biggs had put a big smile back on our faces... You saved the end of our holiday. THANKS GUYS!! They explained all we needed to know, gave us a large pack full of useful local information and even offered some produce of their own in case we were short....... wonderful. The site is new and in excellent condition, facilities are 1st class. Level well drained grass pitches with hook up and water tap. Nice views in all directions. The only downside is we couldn't stay longer... If you are visiting the area or if Bulthy is on your route (to/from Wales maybe) then we whole heartedly recommend Mountain View . . . . and the owners!!

Peace , tranquility and lovely views with access to the outside world when you need it.

If you want a peaceful site with lovely views this is the place for you. If you still want contact with the outside world then there is Wifi and good TV reception. Each pitch has it's own tap, hook up , and grey water drain. Owners were welcoming and helpful.

A Peaceful Retreat - April 2013

Approach is on a narrow lane, with adequate passing places. Peter and Joyce are very friendly (thanks again for the trifle!). The site is well maintained and a haven of peace with beautiful views. The dog walk is superb! We will definitely return.

Weekend Break

Narrow lane from main road but plenty of passing places. On the weekend of our visit the lane was quite. Superb site in a very quite location. Dog walk was excellent. Very central to visit Shrewsbury, Welshpool or Oswestry. Peter & Joyce very helpful.

Recent visit August 2012

A single track, but not busy, approach road leads to a very well presented site with very friendly, helpful hosts, Peter and Joyce. Each pitch has its own water, waste and electricity and the grass is kept well cut and the views are lovely. It is a very peaceful site. Well worth a visit.
