loved it here

We were met on arrival and everything explained.hard standing with nice lawn in front, not a lot of room between vans for putting up a awning. The toilet and shower was clean enough with honesty box for shower, washing machine and eggs. The site is quite good for places to visit. Dumfries with the home of Robert Burns, Locherbie and the garden of rememberance. Gretna Green, and a must is a visit to The Oldest Saving. Bank and Ruthford church. Our dog loved her runs on the beach which is just a few yards away

Lovely Remote CL

Very nice CL. Peaceful with beautiful views over the coast back towards the lakes. Friendly welcome, barn next door has toilet, washing machine and shower although we thought the shower could in all honesty do with a good clean ! But overall a great place to relax, short walk into Powfoot or short drive or cycle takes you to Annan where there are all kinds of shops.

One of the Best

We stayed here over Christmas, and loved it. Superb toilet and shower facilities, the German shower cubicle looks like something from Star Wars. There is a washing machine, a small fridge and a swap library. All hard standing and with superb views across the Solway to the Cumbrian fells. The television reception is superb as is mobile and 3G. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming and even put a small Christmas tree up and Christmas themed paper in the toilet. Our sons, 10 & 11, were very impressed. If you are looking for somewhere to be a base for exploring Dumfries and Galloway or as a stop on your way to the Highlands or the Stranraer ferry we would heartily recommend Moss-side Farm

Superb CL.

At moss-side farm you have superb views across the solway firth to the cumbrian coast, Beach is a 2 min walk. Pitches are all hardstanding, access to pitches is excellent. Owner does not live on site , but visits daily and you get a warm welcome. Site has toilet, shower, and washing machine. Highly recommend this CL if you are looking for a nice quiet break.
