Quiet & peaceful

This a very quiet, peaceful and really lovely working farm cl and surrounding area. The owners were very helpful and happy to help with where to walk and explore. The beach is literally bout 100yds down the lane and there’s miles of walking (when the tide is out) I do think that the facilities were a bit tired and could do with a re-vamp, but as we have our own this wasn’t too much of an issue, and the jam &chutneys for sale in the information room more than made up for it !!

Nice site close to the beach

Nice and easy to book over telephone. A lady was looking after the site for the owners and there was a bit of a mix up when we first arrived as she only had us down for 1 night. Hard standings and all facing the sea so good views. Lovely walks on the beach with the dog. Shower and toilet was adequate if you want to use it. £14 per night Would use again if in the region

Another visit

A great site. Lily & Jim are always welcoming, and for a CL has more facilities than some of the club sites. We have visited several times, and always go home relaxed, also with fresh eggs from their chickens. It is a great place for walking, bird watching on the Solway, but still close to Dumfries & Gretna. Looking forward to our next visit.

Peaceful Break

We spent five nights on the Site and enjoyed every minute. Very quiet, close to the huge beach which our whippet loved. Owner Lily (who visits every day) is very helpful and friendly. Not too far from the motorway and very handy for visiting the area. Facilities are adjacent and adequate.Site was full and many of the caravaners were regular visitors who clearly loved the CL and the surroundings.

Super Cl

Just returned back from a very relaxing stay on this Cl. Lily and Jim do go  out of their way to ensure that you make the most of your visit. The view across the Solway firth to the Cumbrian coast is just stunning. It also very handy to visit both Carlisle and Dumfries and any points in between, such as Gretna and there is an 'ice cream' farm on the road to Dumfries who make their own ice creams in various flavours which is worth visiting. The villages around Dumfries are also worth visiting as each have their own characteristics.

Praise for Moss-side

Excellent, well run site.   Beautiful spot with great access to the shore.   I would most definitely like to stay again, a real gem of a CL.
