Beautiful campsite, beautiful location, beautiful people. Came for one night and stayed for three! This CL is unbelievably peaceful with stunning views and dog friendly owners. The woodland walks which are only 100 yards up the road are unspoilt, owned by the forestry commission. The paths, bumpy in places meander in and around the forest with dear and wildlife at every turn. Stunning! This is possibly one of the most relaxing and quiet sites we have ever stayed at. We could let our dogs of the lead (as long as they did not pester the sheep and chickens too much – our rules not the club site owners who are too laid back to be worried about a few inquisitive dogs roaming the site) There was water pumped from their own source (not your ordinary highly chlorinated tap water!). The CL owners are more than happy to recharge batteries and have a generator if all else fails. They even asked us if we wanted anything from the supermarket. This place is very, very rural; no noise, no street lights, pub 2 miles, but it is the perfect location for North Cornwall beaches and countryside walks. An absolutely lovely site, unspoilt and truly magical. We shall be back. Alison and Nigel, Evesham, May 2012
