My wife and I have just returned from Moorhaven Farm after a glorious 10-night stay, post the lockdown and we could not have wished for a better place to have chosen. Deniese & Molly (her golden retriever) were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble at all, she would visit daily to make sure we were all ok and would say when she was going shopping "was there anything that we would need picking up" We had lovely fresh large eggs when we wanted them and at a very good price too. The site is a fenced off field, gently sloping and backing onto further fields with our 'local neighbours' being Deniese's flock of sheep, of which many have names! The site is so peaceful and overlooks woodland. A 3-minute walk down the (quiet) lane, takes you on a 3.5 mile walk (out and back) down a very long tracked road heading towards a manor, then a further forestry track, surrounded by glorious woodland. The site has basic facility's of fresh water via a bore hole, chemical waste disposal point and full recycling facilities and does not have EHU. For us, this was such an ideal CL, if you are after all 'bells and whistles' then this CL maybe not for you, but if you want peace and quiet without any hustle and have plenty of space without too many other units, then this could be for you! We will most definitely be returning to visit Deniese and Molly soon... Huey & Carolyn
