We stayed here in March of this year (before the recent snow) with the sole purpose of going to the Wetland Centre. This only about a 25 min walk along the lanes and over the fields. Worth a visit. The village of Frampton on Severn is worth a visit. Some lovely buildings. We had lunch in the 3 Horse shoes. Try their Shu pies - three fillings in one pie, cooked while you wait. A warm welcome, ideal if you have dogs. Also found a spot along the river near to Gloucester to watch the Severn Bore. It was rated a 3, so check internet for times. Our hardstanding pitch had its own tap. There are full recycling facilities. Definately recommend and will be going back.
