If we lived closer we would stay regularly for the peace and quiet, lovely countryside, closeness to the canal for cycling and definitely visiting The Wildfowl & Wetland Trust, if you've not been allow plenty of time, it's bigger than we expected! We arrived at the site to find our name and pitch number on a blackboard at the entrance, we didn't actually see the owner until Sunday morning as we were leaving which was not a problem as everything we needed was to hand and fully understand working farms take priority. The site leaflet is great and would recommend other CL's providing similar info, perhaps the owner could create a small waterproof box with a supply at the entrance for the guests they don't see on arrival.
