A HIDDEN GEM.

I have just returned from here having survived the "Beast from the East" winter storm and I can't think of a better place I'd rather be stranded at with my caravan! Tucked away in a quiet corner of Boston this new site is certainly top of my list on CL's. If there are any CL owners looking to upgrade or set up a site you should really take a look at this one! The owners, Karen and Gary are so down to earth and I was made to feel welcome the moment I drove on site. Pitching was easy, all level hardstandings, and each pitch had it's own electric and water. The view was exceptional overlooking the lakes. The ladies really was like home from home! Although there was only one it was set out like a shower room having basins, toilet, level floor shower suitable for wheelchair users, heater, towel rail and all fixtures in chrome and diamanté! Stunning! certainly not your average camp site ladies. There are 2 large lakes for fishing but as they were mostly frozen while I was there, there wasn't any going on, but having seen some of the photo's there are some very large prize fish in there! I can't recommend this site highly enough and as Camper owners and Club members themselves Karen and Gary certainly seem to have got it right.
