Booked with Karen the owner who is very helpful. She rang with payment information prior to arrival. Gave the option of cash or bank transfer so paid via transfer prior to arrival. She sent all the information regarding site entry etc via text which was very useful. There was a box with useful information in and a bottle of wine ( because we booked a certain length of stay) and the added bonus of an Easter egg which was a lovely gesture.
The site itself is very clean, tidy and well manicured. It is quiet and peaceful. I can’t comment on the facilities because we used our own. The first entry gate is coded so security is excellent. There is a second gate to go through onto the CL itself which isn’t locked. Although the pitches are large and well spaced there is no room for manoeuvring a large unit within the CL. You would have to either have a motorhome a motor mover or reverse in through the gate. There is space enough to do this if required. The CL is surrounded by hedges and trees and because of this and the gates it gave the impression of it being rather small and made me feel a bit hemmed in. Not a deal breaker.
The electric is rather expensive and on a commercial rate which I wish we had known prior as we used the whole of our allowance in the first 24 hours. We went onto gas to run the fridge and heating afterwards. It would have made it a very expensive weekend had we used the site electric. Cost would have exceeded a night on a club site. All in all a lovely little CL with the addition of a personal touch from the owners despite not actually meeting them.
I would happily recommend and would return if we visit the area again.
Immaculate, well run site
Had another peaceful, relaxing time at Karen and Gary's well looked after site. 4 Hardstanding pitches with EHU and Water to each pitch with grey water drain close by. Entrance via coded gate. Please make sure you close this gate after use at all times. A levy is now charged on electricity with a free allowance of £3 per nights stay being allocated to a meter. At the rates being charged for their electricity this probably relates to a usage of about 5Kwh per day. Bring £1 or £2 coins if you are going to exceed this usage. Not sure how this is going to impact bookings for them. The showers, one in each of separate men and women's sections, are walk in and the best we use anywhere on a campsite. Toilets also separate. There is also a covered washing up sink for dishes. Boston about 3-4 miles away with Tesco Extra easily accessible. Fishing is for private members only.
Beautiful site
This beautiful little CL is a gem amongst caravan sites. Large pitches with electric and water. Fantastic shower block, everything is clean and well looked after. Karen and Gary are so friendly and helpful I feel like they are long lost friends. This visit was our second one this year and if we weren't going abroad in October we would have gone back there. My sister and her husband are going for 2 weeks in September and that will be their 3rd visit this year. We have already booked for Easter next year. An adults only site, so if you are wanting a quiet relaxing holiday, with access to places like Woodhall Spa and Tattershall with the coast a little further away, this is the place for you.
Jiffy the motorhome
What a beautiful site this is. A massive thanks to both of our hosts Karen and Gary, they couldn't do enough for us. Half the price of a club site with all of the benefits which you would find on them. Easy access, lovely and clean. A file of tourist info and local bus and train timetables on hand in box for each plot. Lovely canal walks in both directions. Loads of shopping in Boston. Also most villages we travelled through had a small supermarket of some kind. Husband visited RAF Coningsby whilst the girls and I walked along the canal to Tattersall which was a beautiful village with it's own little castle. He's a massive WW11 enthusiast and he learnt so much more from the tour guide. We went to the Boston Vintage Car Show which was in a field along the road from the site- great day out- argued about what makes a car vintage! The dogs both miss their evening walks around the lakes. Definitely will return. Thanks again for a lovely holiday.

Peace and Quiet
A huge thank you to Gary and Karen for how they work so hard to keep such a lovely CL site.
There are four large hardstanding pitches with grass, all with electricity and water. Gary puts £3 per night on the meter and you can top it up if needed, the £3 a night was ample for us. You can also stay on the grass (in summer) overlooking the lake with electric but you have to collect your water,
The toilet block with showers and washing up sinks are spotless with lovely hot showers,
A short 10-15min walk to the Wheatsheaf pub is really worth visit ,good food, lovely friendly staff and they are dog friendly.
Longer walks down the "Forty Foot" north and south if you want a longer walk or cycle ride are good and away from the road.
Plenty of interesting places to visit ie; Boston, National Trusts Gunby Hall & Gardens .
Not for you, if you don't like peace and quiet!!
Oasis of peace and tranquility
We spent three nights here on our way home from 2 weeks touring in our motorhome.
Lovely 4 pitch gated CL with neat and tidy large hard standing with a grassed area to the side and electric and water on each pitch. Spotlessly clean facilities with two fishing lakes that add to the peaceful atmosphere. There is a pub a short distance away serving meals (probably advisable to book) as it was busy when we called but it was a Saturday.
The owners Karen and Gary are super friendly and have a site to be proud of we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future.
Peace perfect peace.
What a find, one of the best CLs we have stayed on. Pitches are excellent, more than ample size and serviced, the shower and toilet facilities are immaculate. Peaceful walk around the two lakes, ideal for walking our dog. The owners are friendly and helpful, they do a first class job of running the CL. We are looking forward to our booked future visits. Thank you Gary and Karen.

Perfect Peace
3 lovely quiet nights here. Very clean and tidy site. Well set up with coded entry gate and keys for showers and toilet. Facilities nice and clean. Nice walk around the 2 lakes on site (private fishing) We did a longer walk along the waterway into Boston. Only as far as the pub for lunch! Would be a very easy cycle ride. There is also a very nice pub just a 15 min walk away. The Wheatsheaf. Packed on Sunday lunchtime so need to book. Lots of nearby places to visit a short drive away, including Coningsby and the We’ll Meet Again Museum, for any WW2 enthusiasts. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Gary and Karen.

Super CL site
We’ve just had a 4 night stay at this lovely, immaculate CL site. Good, clean facilities and info pack. The lake adds to the peacefulness and you’re far enough from the road so no traffic noise. Plenty to do in the area. Thanks Karen and Gary for being so welcoming. Hope to be back.
