Superb quiet retreat

Just back from this superb CL site, with a fairly last-minute booking; the owners were very welcoming and the facilities are excellent. The site itself is large- the five vans on site were well spread out, with plenty of space between (a good 20 or 30 metres!). There are three service bollards, with night lighting and EHU, as well as a water point on each- so that it really makes setting up easy. The site is perfectly level and surrounded by clusters of young trees, of varying types. As these start to mature, it will give even more privacy between units. The shower facilities were immaculate, as were all the other parts of this site. We were impressed by watching the activities of Barn Owls swooping low over the surrounding fields hunting, while there was an abundance of wildlife. The site is very handy for Donna Nook- an outstanding area to visit- we effectively had the whole beach/salt flat to ourselves for several hours of walking. A brilliant site which we will be returning to soon.

A secret paradise

What a beautiful site to stay at, Linda and Howard were very helpful and welcoming to us and our 6 dogs. Facilities were great , a lovely spotless shower room , Toilet , Ironing and washroom. The field was immaculate and well maintain. A superb base for countryside walking and nature lovers but also a great base for families for seaside resorts of Mablethorpe , Cleethorpes and Skegness, our personal favourite was Sutton on Sea. We will be returning shortly.

Caravan Club SITE in minature

Possibly one of the highest standard CL I have stayed on. Well cut grass ,electric and water on illuminated bollard at the pitch. Immaculate toilet and shower, information room, washeteria and ironing board with iron. Clean and tidy waste disposal. A warm welcome from Linda. The whole property (cl, nursery and holiday cottages) is maintained to an exceptional standard. Four peaceful days, with our two dogs made very welcome

Enjoyed every moment

We've just returned from this lovely site with our two grandsons and shall definitely go back.  We had a warm welcome and was allowed to go on the field and choose our place. There was so much room we were spoild for choice. The weather has been on our side and therefore we enjoyed several days just sat around the caravan with the boys playing with other children on the site.  We've also visited nearby Mabelthorpe and Cleethorpes too.  The site is situated down a quiet country lane with very little noise and then it's usually pheasants or peacocks - we've even heard the cuckoo and saw a barn owl.  Wonderful. This site is well worth a visit and we shall definitely return.  Beautiful plants too at the nursery belonging to the site.

Beautiful location.

This is a lovely site, beautifully maintained and very spacious. We were made to feel very welcome by Linda who could not have been more helpful. The site has a shower and toilet block with laundry facilities , very handy and spotlessly clean. There is also an information point with a handy map of local walks. We would definately return !

Our favourite CL.

We have been to Meals Farm three times in the last year once for a few days and twice for a full week and we just love it here. It must be one of the best places for walking dogs ever in the surrounding area as there is so much space on the beaches nearby and on the salt marshes. The bird life is very impressive and varies so much throughout the year with different species each time we visit. The owners are very nice and friendly and the new shower/toilet block is lovely. I never realised what a beautiful part of the country this is until we explored the Lincolnshire Wolds which are just a few miles away. The local village of North Somercotes has shops and takeaways but the best chip shop is at Saltfleet on a static site about three miles away. We will be back.

A beautiful, quiet, immaculate gem of a CL

This was our first time away with our four year old Granddaughter. What a pleasure with good weather, a good flat site and a warm welcome. The outdoor water park in Mablethorpe was free and great fun for our granddaughter with good food served at "The Crown" Saltfleet. Meals Farm also offer B&B and some beautiful Holiday accommodation. We will return

A Good Choice

We have not long return home from Meals Farm after a very pleasant stay, the weather did make it all the more enjoyable. Every thing is exactly as laid out on the the internet. I have always maintained that with the number of C Ls about the Country I would never visit the same one twice, however Meals Farm is the exception!! I will certainly visit again, but, the only problem with making any recommendations, or so I have been told, that when the site proves to be very popular it becomes difficult to obtain a pitch. Its will be in next years book and no doubt will get very busy. Go and see for yourself and enjoy. The owners are exceptionally pleasant and helpful, and all places of interest are not to far away. I have no doubt that the site will continue to keep its 5 star ratings. Hope to see you soon Lydia.

JUST AS IT SAYS ON THE PACKAGE

Like every other review you are greeted by an excellent well maintained site. We met Linda, who could not do enough for us. The water tap next to pitch is very useful and saves back aches. The toilet and shower are new and is immaculate. If showering you need to wave yourself around a bit to keep light on. Interesting if two of you shower together when it is pitch black!! Access was easy and the satnav took us to the gate. The access road is more adequate. We will be back and encouraging others as a new site it needs to succeed, Linda and husband have worked very hard. Mel
