Great Place

Have just spent a week at this site. The weather had been very wet and the pitches were of course a little muddy but the ground drained very quickly. Apart from that we were delighted to stay at this CL. Very warm welcome from Tim and Catherine. Spotlessly clean toilet and shower. Perfect pub very close and access very easy. The low flying geese were a spectacle to behold. Thank you Tim and Catherine for making our stay so great.

Ideal place to stay

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The site is really close to Southampton & the coast. We will definitely return next season. Very friendly owners and good facilities on site.

South Coast Gem

Meadow Bank Farm – what a brilliant find. This is a well kept site by the owners Tim and Catherine Hood. It has first class amenities – an excellent shower, washing machine, drier, etc. Its in a convenient location for many tourist attractions on the South Coast and also a good night halt if catching a ferry from Portsmouth Harbour (a 25 miles journey of half an hour on the M27). Catherine is a Therapist/Nutritionist and Wellness professional and I took advantage of my time at the site to have a brilliant massage. On my next visit I shall explore further how to improve my health in the many ways known to her. We both look forward to spending some time at Meadow Bank next year and will look forward to seeing Tim and Catherine - one of the most caring couples I've ever met.

A truly outstanding site, clean, peaceful, and very welcoming.

We have just returned from Meadowbank, having spent a most wonderful week in the New Forest. We arrived and were greeted by Tim, who was very friendly, and extremely helpful, he showed us where to pitch up, all about the electrics, and gave us lots of information about our local surroundings. The site was superb, lovely level pitches, and a very clean toilet, shower and washing block, what more could you need, oh, and also virtually silent, lovely and peaceful. We spent a lot of our time travelling around, seeing a lot of the attractions of the New Forest, and we always enjoyed coming home to this beautiful site every evening. Last day today, we are now back at home, and back into reality, but this wonderful site will always have a special place for us, we will without doubt be back. Overall, a lovely place that will be very hard to better....

CL convert after an enjoyable stay

Tim was very welcoming on our arrival. The site is easily accessible and secure (number coded gates). Although off the A336 there is no road noise as it's at the end of a long drive. The site is well maintained and the toilet/shower block facilities are very clean. There's easy access to the New Forest, and for us it also meant not having to tackle the usual traffic jams in Lyndhurst, which must be a plus. A chat, and a goodbye, with both Tim and Catherine on our last day was also a nice touch. Despite many years of caravanning my husband has always been reluctant to stay on a CL site, but having persuaded him that for 3 nights it would be fine he's now a CL convert. We'll definitely visit Meadow Bank Farm again, and are looking at other CL sites in other areas we might visit!

Execellent

We arrived on site after leaving Exeter, i rang the owners who gave me the electric gate code. After driving in they arrived only minutes after and soon sorted out a good spot for us to pitch our caravan and awning. The camp site is nice and flat and very secure with those gates. 16 amp electric is very good, lovely clean toilet and shower. Also of course the site is in a great position for visiting places in the New Forest., and of course Southampton. Thank you from us both to Tim and Catherine.

Lovely friendly site

Lovely peaceful site, flat, clean, secure gate so felt very safe. There is easy access to a bus stop, shops, church and lots of places in the New Forest. Will certainly be using this site when this way.

Ideal for exploring the New forest

Stayed for 5 nights on this site. It was a perfect base for visiting the New Forest with a short drive to Exbury, Furzey Gardens, Mottisfont, Brockenhurst & Lyndhurst. The pitches are flat, very well maintained and there is plenty of room on the field. Our hosts, Tim and Catherine were helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome. The facilities are immaculate with a spacious shower room. Although the roads to the site are all main roads, no narrow lanes etc. we found it quiet and peaceful; no road noise. Supermarkets and a late/Sunday opening convenience store nearby. Despite some very heavy rain, the pitch didn't become waterlogged or muddy. If I'm down that way again this would be my first choice of site.

Delightful CL

This relatively new CL has everything we needed and more. The shower and toilet facilities are excellent and very clean, and also have laundry facilities. It is a nice quiet site , with some occasional noise from "boy racers" on the road. Tim and Catherine made us most welcome. Catherine is hoping to start a little holistic centre there soon -this will make it an even more relaxing stay! The local pub, The White Horse, is about 100 yds to the left of the drive -excellent beer, wine and food. The CL is very useful for visiting many local attractions -the New Forest is right on its doorstep! We will be back. Our only problem is that there is no hard standing at present and our heavy motorhome got a bit bogged down
