Great stop over

We used this for 3 nights over the bank holiday weekend on our way from the north west to the New Forest. Plenty of room and picnic tables dotted about to use. Shower room very large and clean with plenty of hooks. There is a bit of aeroplane noise early in the morning and late at night which was a little bit of a niggle but then you are very close to lots of big cities and motorways, can't have everything.

Our very first CL and we were not dissapointed.

We have stayed here twice now and love the site. Our very first try of a CL site and was not dissapointed. Loads of room for the kids to play and not annoy our neighbours as there is so much space between pitches. Very clean toilet and shower facilities too. The first time we came we picked this site as it was reasonably close to Drayton manor theme park and the second time we came we took a trip by train into Birmingham. Also very close to Covertry and the NECC as well. The owners are very nice and they have gone to a great deal of effort to keep this site to a good standard. I just wish all CL's were like this.

Surprise!

Considering its proximity to nearby cities wherever we went, and we covered a few miles, seemed to be endless countryside. The owner was away whilst we were there (even site owners deserve a break) but had left someone in charge. Great site although a bit of a slope and rather wet following a lot of rain in recent weeks. Loads of room and surrounded by great scenery. The on-site shower was a good size (please put some hooks for towels etc in) and clean as was the WC. The waste disposal looked brand new and was well placed. The individual water supply next to the hook up is a real plus. Overall very good and a very pleasant surprise.

nec

we have just spent a week at this cl, as it was in the middle of the winter it was as we thought it would be without hardstandings a little bit on the muddy side but with a track up through the center of the pitches we made it ok, the showers are one of the best we have seen on a cl in pristine condition although a little bit away from the pitches, Sarah was very friendly even though we only met her the once, the only think we didnt like was being there for the caravan show at the nec the price went up to £15 a night but that wasnt to bad as its only a six mile drive to the nec, we will be back!!

unhappy

Stayed here recently.  CL full so was told there would be a "nice" hard standing.  What a disappointment.  Put infront of a gate, muddy not a hard standing just an access point.   Didnt see the owners whilst we were there except on arrival.  Told it was coin meter when we phoned to book.  The husband did not know anything about that. No meters. Toilet emptying point disgaceful.  4 vans in another yard and another 4 in another yard with hardly any space between them.    This is not what we expect.  The CL field itself looks ok, but the picture is deceiving, not flat.  Entrance to farm dreadful, potholes and very uneven.  Could not leave any money as there was no one around.  Waiting for them to contact me.

Ideal Site

This really is a lovely site, with plenty of space between pitches. Great that water is sited on each pitch. The toilet and shower rooms are kept lovely and clean. I have to agree with other reviewers about the septic tank set up, but it makes you realise that Husbands do have their uses !! We will definitely stay here again.

Relaxing break.

What a gem. Friendly owners, beautiful spacious site and surroundings. 1st class for a CL with water point on pitch and spotless toilet and shower available as a bonus.
