Just got back from a five night stay on this lovely site. As others have said the pitches are hardstanding and level and being fully serviced, makes for a more relaxing holiday. The owners are lovely and were great with our younger kids, who loved the animals and helped feed the chickens. The ducks wandering round the site and the sheep and lambs behind the caravans provided added entertainment. There were also lots of red kites and buzzard flying around too and a whole host of smaller birds on the many bird feeders at the bottom of the garden. The owners could not have been more helpful and were full of suggestions of good places to go. We were there with friends and had the CL to ourselves for 3 of the nights, which was lovely and enabled us to have a party for the Platinum Jubilee. Although rural, there is a small town 5 miles away with a lovely castle on a riverside setting and plenty of other things to do within a 30 minute drive. The outdoor activities available onsite were an added bonus and Richard was great with our archery session.
