We have just got back from 11 nights on this cl and found it nearly perfect. Just 3 pitches with electric and 2 without. Very easy access to water and emptying point, grey water into the hedgerow. The site is much changed from the pictures as the hedge by the field is now much higher than the caravans, which was a boon for us as it sheltered us from the high winds for the first few days of our stay, and made putting up the awning really easy. The whole area around is lovely with plenty to do. Being so far from any main road made it incredibly quiet, shame about the cow that decided to keep the whole area aware of its presence during the daytime. The only downsize for us was the 600yds of farm track to go down from the road to the site, not rutted or potholed just very very dusty. Mind you once down it the village was very close and the roads in the area gave fantastic easy access to anywhere you might want to go. We will be back.
Perfect for a quiet getaway
We booked a couple of days before as a stop over on our way home. Spent 2 nights on this lovely CL. 3 pitches with EHU and 2 without, all grass pitches. Bins (and recyling bin) and CDP point easy for all pitches. Space to walk dogs. Well away from main road so lovely and quiet, TV and mobile signal good. The village pub was friendly and did good food and beer and a easy walk from site, also a village shop which we didn't get around to going to. We would go again if in the area. An excellent site for the money and Kellie was a great with local knowlege.
One of the very best
We've just returned from a short break at this site. We chose it because of its proximity to Stratford as we had theatre tickets but it's one of the nicest sites we've ever stayed on. We had the pick of the three pitches with EHU as, surprisingly there were no other bookings and we had it to ourselves. All we could hear was the sound of the birds and Richard (the owner) bringing in the hay. We can thoroughly recommend Mansell Farm if you want somewhere that's peaceful and quiet but only a short distance from Stratford and the Cotswolds.
We'll definitely return.
If you want a peaceful sheltered site, look no further
We arrived at this lovely peaceful CL in the first week of July 2024 after several days of heavy rain. The farm track from the main road is good and not at all uneven if taken at a careful speed. The CL site is on well maintained grass and was dry when we arrived and we had no problems with siting our Motorhome on one of the three pitches with EHU.
The site is very peaceful and well sheltered from any prevailing winds behind the hedges which have grown substantially since the current photos were taken. Lots of wild birds and the occasional squirrel frequent the site and apparently deer also visit although we didn’t see any of the later.
We have been able to leave our MH on site and use public transport to visit nearby Cotswold villages as well as Stratford-Upon-Avon and local National Trust properties during our stay. Recommend using Google Maps or similar for guidance.
A thoroughly recommended CL and we will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
Beautiful and peaceful site
This site is in a peaceful location and easy to find. It is beautifully kept and in a lovely setting. Everything is well maintained and clean. The owners are friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return!
Peaceful and away from traffic
Stayed for 10 days in August 23. This is one of the better CLs that we have stayed on and we only stay on CLs if possible. Some say CLs getting more expensive but try and find anywhere for just £20 a night! Peaceful country location well away from traffic. Pleasant and helpful hosts. Would definately visit again.

Peaceful and easy to find
Just had 6 nights here, Kellie was very friendly and the site is so peaceful that we had a great time.3 pitches have ehu on the main field and 2 others without ehu are in a separate area. The long farm track is a bit bumpy but we have been on much worse so not as bad as some other reviews. A great location with so many places to visit.
Tranquil and secluded
We spent 2 wonderfully peaceful nights at this site.
It was so relaxing. Perfect for our dog with a wonderful walk with pools . Being so far off the road was such a bonus!
Welcome board with pitch number on made everything easy . Host popped round , very pleasant and informative of the area around us.
Perfect spot for visiting Stratford.
We will definitely return 🙂 🐕

April the first trip of 2023
Although I agree with previous reviews in some ways not others.
Site season starts April and visited towards the end and it's been a wet month but it would have been nice to warned by the owner of soft ground.
I always use the caravan mover not to rip up the grass but a few feet back the wheels sank into the ground almost the depth of the tyre wall.
Also someone arrived on the next pitch had the same results none of this was not helped with very long grass so ground had no change of drying with wind and sun.
There was no evidence that the grass had been cut this year the grass cuttings that on the top was old.
Finally area where toilet is empty hadn't been cleaned before this season opening I think that the site is opening April the would take the opportunity leading up it to get thing sorted.
We use CL mostly and this isn't the cheapest as some we use but are better maintained know they can be basic but we caravaners have standards and take pride in caravans/motorhomes.

Peaceful location
Stayed for 2 nights on pitch 3 with EHU at Mansell farm .Lovely peaceful location , down along lane next to a field of cattle . Easy access with our twin axle caravan.
Lots of walks around the farm. We walked into the village to The White Hart pub recently under new management. Very welcoming landlord, they do not do food yet , but hopefully will be doing so in the near future.
Views of amazing sunsets from the gate in the field.
Kellie very good host, pointed out walks around the farm.
Would definitely visit again for a tranquil get away .
This was our debut trip in our caravan so only an hour from home.
Lots of places to visit in the area with Stratford upon Avon nearby. We were not there for sightseeing though.
