What a Gem

Arrieved on the site to be welcomed by Pam the owner very helpfull, the pitch is flat and the views are great, Toilets and shower are all clean and tidy. The small honesty shop that Pam provides is first class with fresh eggs for sale from the chickens which are roaming around the farm next door. there are a number of garden ornaments around the site which are charming and amusing Don;t want to say too much as it would take away the supprise when you come to visit this site. If you are looking for peace and quiet then this is the place to come, but also you are not far from some great towns and resorts to visit. Very rare that I give reviews but the site definatly deserves a great review. Thanks for the enjoyable visit. Peter & Denise

Peaceful haven

Visited this site to attend the Bridgewater carnival, a must see event. The carnival has been going since the 1830's and is fantastic . The site is lovely and peaceful. Pam has put so much effort and imaginative into making it beautiful. The quirky little ornaments, gypsy caravans, barbecue hut, alpacas etc. plus the numerous species of wild birds who visit make it a wonderful place to be. Pam makes you so welcome that you feel like you've known her for years and nothing is too much trouble. She even arranged a lift into town and back for the carnival so we didn't have to worry about driving and parking (thank you to Paul who drove us and picked us up late at night) . Wonderful site to visit. Thanks Pam and Paul.

Thank You!

What can we say?! This site is wonderful!! We were a party of 2 adults, one child and a dog. I read the reviews before staying, read how much the shower was (£1), read how much extra to pay for our dog and child.... There is no hidden agenda and what you get is amazing Pam is so friendly and she works so hard to keep the site clean and tidy. It really is good value for the money!! There are so many little extras - the little flower pot people, the gypsy caravans, the amazing BBQ hut, chickens and the peace and quiet... l could go on but you need some surprises here! We were blown away by the little shop with its honesty box - I used it. I did need garlic for one of our meals and I asked Pam if she could help - she brought me some cloves from her own kitchen. She didn't need to do that. The shower and toilet are clean, with air freshener and there is even soft toilet paper!! (That goes a long way!!) How anyone can call these 'small' I don't know as I had loads of room to shower, hang my clothes and dry myself... It was kept so lovely. So thank you Pam for your friendly approach, kindness and the garlic. We will see you again x

Peaceful site with some lovely touches

Great site, very tidy, pretty and peaceful. The shower and toilet was on the small side. Little shop with honesty box, washing up sink, a barbecue shed and picnic benches, all nice touches. We where charged £18 a night not the £15 I was expecting and the showers are £1 which did mean I felt it was a bit dear. Only 3 miles from Bridgwater and the M5 so good access.

A hidden gem in gorgeous surroundings

Pam is a fabulous host she has createt an idyllic oasis here in the countryside. it is more than obvious when you enter the site that she has put a huge amount of effort into this place, she keeps it immaculate and other sites could learn a thing a two by visiting here, it's superb!! This is way above and beyond your usual CL of just a mown field, she has created adorable spaces around the site with cute and tasteful decorative seating, with lovely ornaments and plants. She's obviously put her heart and soul into this site with nothing too much trouble, everyone is made to feel at home and it is well worth a visit.

Wonderful

2nd time we’ve stayed on this fabulous site and can not say enough about how welcoming and friendly Pam and her son James are, even to the point of placing little country scenes with arrows pointing out directions on the way to the site. The site is beautifully laid out and well kept. There are walks and cycle lanes nearby. Best way in us through the village of ChiltonTrinity passing another Manor Farm before turning left at the end of the lane. 5 stars ++.

this is a beautiful site.

the owner takes enormous care and commits much personal interest in creating additions to enliven the site, restored gypsy caravans, alpacas, ephemera around the site. we booked it as a stopover en route to cornwall, but may return as a holiday in its own right.

Fantastic CL!

We checked in late here on a Saturday night after we had been let down on another CL nearby. The owner, Pam, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The site is spacious and shady, access is easy, grass neatly cut, flowers everywhere - everything was spick and span. Each individual site has electricity and water and there is a shower and restroom too. This site will get my vote as CL of the year. Definitely the best CL we’ve ever used!!
