We arrived after a tiring 150 mile drive and we were immediately greeted by Pam. She was so welcoming, friendly and helpful that we felt refreshed after our journey!
We soon got set up and later she checked we were OK advising us where we could eat and giving us a local Bridgwater guide.
On site there is a shower and toilet facility in a static home with more pamphlets and information about the surrounding areas. The grass is cut short and there are many shrubs and flowers to brighten up the area. Every pitch has a set of wooden chairs available for your use.
We had come to relax and this site allows you to do that, because there is plenty of space and peace. We come back one day from shopping to find some leaflets that Pam had kindly left on our step, with ideas for places to visit. She was really helpful and keen that you enjoyed your time on her site.
We will certainly return to enjoy this lovely site and the friendly owner.
Warm welcome by Pam, lovely spacious flat grass pitches, interesting collection of horses, llamas, alpacas, cats, dogs etc, even a pair of robins came visiting every day. A real relaxing location, with far reaching views, lovely, we'll be back.
Just returned from a 4 night stay on this amazing site, from booking to leaving Pam made us feel looked after .
The site truly is delightful - massive pitches around an extremely well kept area, with seating dotted all around, quirky little flowerbeds and the odd flower pot man!!
On arrival we were greeted by Pam who gave us a genuinley warm welcome, during our stay we met the members of her family who worked hard for Pam to ensure our stay was memorable. James was an absolute star putting on fireworks and fixing anything from a screw in a bench to someone's caravan issues.
This truly is a family working together to make the stay and site perfect.
The location is such that there are beautiful walks close by or if you just want to sit and enjoy the farm, talk to an alpaca , stroke a Shetland pony or even throw a ball for the dog you can.
Pam arranged lifts for us to watch the carnival and nothing was too much trouble this really is the most amazing cl ever and we will certainly be back again.
Thank you again to Pam and her amazing family troop , We definitely arrived as strangers and left as friends😘😘
With thanks Karen and Phil
My partner and myself have never left any reviews on any sites or CL’s we have stayed at, but feel after staying here we had to! The CL is very large with biggest pitches we have ever had, the grounds are immaculate with Pam the owners personal touch. The honesty shop is lovely don’t see many of them these days! Have to say that Pam and her family made us feel like part of their family, nothing at all was too much trouble for them. Pam even arranged a lift to and from the Bridgwater carnival, her son James even made us a decorated Halloween trolley to put our pumpkins on! They even put on a small fire work display for us! We definitely be back. So a HUGE thank you to Pam and family for everything you have done. Really looking forward to seeing you all soon, Paul Mart and the Prosecco team! Xx
Large field allowing for huge space to park. A toilet, wash basin, shower and washing up sink in a small static, along with a well stocked 'Honesty' shop. Llamas and alpacas in adjacent fields and nice walking. Good access to Somerset towns and coast.
Owner, Pam, lovely.
Follow Pam's directions to the site! Price needs to be updated on this website.
What a find. We stayed here 1 night as it is convenient for our motorhome dealers at Highbridge and it is close, but not too close, to the M5. However, we will be back to spend some time here. We had a lovely welcome on arrival from Pam and her son and the pitches are enormous and beautifully kept. Alpacas, ponies and llamas are all right on the site. There is a lovely BBQ garden house, a small very basic 'honesty' shop and simple toilets with shower. The whole place was charming. We read somewhere that it is only for small units but we are 8m and had no problems and there were a couple of twin axle caravans. We made the mistake of not reading the instructions on how to get there and ended up going down extremely narrow lanes but went out as directed with no problem. It really is impossible to fault this site if you like peace, beauty, friendliness....and animals.
This caravan site is a little gem, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by Pam and her family.
The site is well maintained and having alpacas, lamas and a pony on the site just made our stay one of the best we have ever had.
The site is ideally situated for the M5 and many places of interest.
We would diffentatley recomend this site, you will not be sorry if you manage to book a pitch, just a wonderful experience thank you Pam x
Stayed here in June as a stop off point on our way to Cornwall, as we are from Cambridgeshire and we felt it says to far to travel down to Cornwall in one hit. Put the destination into Google maps and it took us right to the gate and when we arrived it was just amazing. The way the Owner Pam looks after this place is a credit to her. The site in my opinion is second to none and I've stayed at a few CL sites, all of which have been lovely but this one is a cut above the rest. It has a shower which there is a small charge of a pound to use, a toilet, an honesty shop which is well stocked with all the essentials, loads of info about things to do and see, and books to borrow if you want a read. Pam also has lamas, alpacas, ponies and chickens. The CL itself is very large and there is loads of space between you and your nearest neighbour. If you have dogs there is a good dog walk and poo bin provided. The hard work that goes into running this CL is plain to see and I will certainly be coming to this CL for what I hope is many more years to come.
With a family reunion bash just south of Bridgwater, we needed a site for three nights. We did not need all the trimmings of a large site so this was just what was required. Some narrow roads on the approach but nothing too daunting and then a very warm welcome from Pam, oozing enthusiasm and humour. We loved the 'deep in the country' feel to the place even though we were only a couple of miles from the Bridgwater. Not every site has alpacas in the field next door but this one did. We used the honesty shop (very fresh eggs at 25p a crack) and the shower/loo in the portacabin (£1). Wonderful nights of sleep in the perfect calm. Thanks to Pam for your devotion to this site and for making us feel so welcome.
What a lovely little quiet site, Pam was very friendly and helpful, the fresh eggs were best we have had for some time, passed details on to friends who will be visiting later in the year
