We stayed at this site for 5 nights at the beginning of April. The owners are very welcoming and go beyond to make sure you know where things are and happy with the facilities. From what they and others have said they are constantly improving things on the site to make it a fabulous CL and we would agree. There is a well appointed WC, shower room and washing up facility. The only downside is the road noise - although not constant its more of a nuisance when motorbikes and loud cars/lorries pass. Don't let this put you off, it is a lovely site and we would come back. In terms of things to do in the area - what a gem that we never knew about! We picked this site as we were going to a charity do at Alton Towers with our children and this CL was close. We also found Water World which was a great day out for the children. Gladston Pottery Museum is worth a visit. We were able to throw pottery, the children picked some pieces to paint on the day and we learned loads about pottery making and ...toilets! In summary, this is a fabulous CL and we would visit again.
