This should be the standard by which CL's are judged by. Excellent facilities and warm and welcoming owners. A wonderful site. Many thanks Alex and Vicky.
lovely site
Just come back from a 5 day stay at Luzlow caravan site with our little granddaughter after visiting Alton Towers and other local attractions ,what a lovely little CL our first visit and will not be our last , Owners very welcoming and keep it in first class condition , Marg and Glyn
Great value!
Enjoyed a five night stay in early July and agree with previous reviews.
A wee note for dog owners......the busy road is not ideal for walks. However, a couple of minutes in the car you will find a common on the edge of the village. This is a vast area and a dog walk hot spot!
We would highly recommend this CL.
Great weekend at luzlow
Had a great weekend at luzlow
Very relaxing site with very good facilities for a cl
Your pitched behind a road with the odd bit of traffic but you just get used to the odd car or two
Will definitely be returning especially now it's a full hardstanding pitch
Well done luzlow keep up the good work and see you guys soon
Lovely site
What a lovely site, and lovely owners. Quick to welcome us on site and show us where things were( no recycling facilities). The pitches are all hard standing with small areas of grass for an awning,- our piece of grass had been left in a very sorry state by a previous inconsiderate user - leaving a groundsheet down for a long stay destroying the grass completely and in need of reseeding. Its on a gentle slope needing only a small block to achieve bubble perfect level. Nice clean and heated toilet and shower block with hot and cold taps. The only critisism I can make- and its not the owners fault - is that the country lane that the site is located becomes a comuter rat-run during AM and PM rush hours.
Did that put me off going again? no way. I`ll be back later this season at least hoping for better weather, and if it rains every day again, shame, I`ll still enjoy my stay.
A nice touch was that the old signs were still on the main entrance, the new silly ones only being on the gate into the pitches so as to not offend the few that like the new ones. Good on yer Alex!!
Highly recommended by Joan and Dave from Sheffield.
Best CL we have stayed on
What a lovely surprise, I had not read up on the site prior to booking and arriving there. It was beautiful, Vicky is so friendly, the electricity sub station decided to play up whilst we were there. Vicky came to let us know the whole story so that we knew what time etc. the power was going to be turned back on. No problems at all., Very clean, cant wish for a better site. There is just one little thing that might be a bit of a problem for some. If say, you were a woman travelling on your own, you would find it difficult to empty the grey water container. you have to lift it up about 18" and when it is full it is quite heavy, a drain on the ground would solve the problem, not a massive issue but one that might put some people off. We will definitely stay there again when we are next in the area.
Also there is plenty to see and do around the area. Brilliant.
Wonderful CL
We stayed at this site for 5 nights at the beginning of April. The owners are very welcoming and go beyond to make sure you know where things are and happy with the facilities. From what they and others have said they are constantly improving things on the site to make it a fabulous CL and we would agree. There is a well appointed WC, shower room and washing up facility. The only downside is the road noise - although not constant its more of a nuisance when motorbikes and loud cars/lorries pass. Don't let this put you off, it is a lovely site and we would come back.
In terms of things to do in the area - what a gem that we never knew about! We picked this site as we were going to a charity do at Alton Towers with our children and this CL was close. We also found Water World which was a great day out for the children. Gladston Pottery Museum is worth a visit. We were able to throw pottery, the children picked some pieces to paint on the day and we learned loads about pottery making and ...toilets!
In summary, this is a fabulous CL and we would visit again.
Wow
We come to this lovely site often as it is near to our home but this time we were surprised as it has been given a makeover Alex has put in very large hard standing pitches with room for caravan car and awning with. Grass borders it is lovely. Vicky keeps the toilets and shower and washing up area spotless they both work hard to keep it so nice and make you so very welcome.its also very handy for Alton towers and Sudbury hall. for a nice peacefull stay this is the place

Brilliant hosts
We had a school reunion and a funeral to attend in North Stoke and this new site was a peach. Site was clearly marked for us with a welcome sign and slabs in the grass to indicate where we should pitch. Vicky arrived after we had set up and explained how things worked. On the negative side there is a small amount of road noise early morning and around tea time, nothing major but its there. The site is well appointed with two toilets, a private shower room and h/c water and a food prep/washing sink for the pans. Its a nice flat site with easy access. Shops are within easy access and there is a good walk a short drive away on the Common. Another one to go back to.

peace and tranquility
We had to good fortune to find this site when looking for some where near our relatives and decided to book this site, and what a really good decision it was, on arrival Vicky met us and showed us our pitch, unfortunately we managed to get bogged down as it had been raining non stop for a 6 week period so the ground was sodden, but up came Alex who managed to pull us out, after this we settled down and had a peaceful and tranquil time. If anyone is looking for peace and quiet this is the site for you.
