Peaceful and beautiful site

First time visiting this site what a lovely place the owner was very friendly if you needed to know anything about the area you only needed to ask The site was lovely even though there was snow on the ground it was lovely Will be back and will tell friends and family about this lovely site

Great Site

We stayed at this great site in July whilst visiting family. Very well kept pitches and the owners are lovely. We will definitely be back again. As fairly new members we are hoping all the CLs are of this standard.

Another visit to this amazing site

We have had another amazing visit to this site. The owners are friendly and most helpful. The site is immaculate and fully serviced pitches hard to beat. We stayed because we were visiting family but there is such a wealth of attractions within easy reach that it makes it an ideal location for a break. There are lovely walks straight out of the site and keen cyclists will also be catered for. Its is hard to imagine that you are close to Burnley and Nelson as it is so peaceful and quiet with beautiful views of the countryside. Cannot wait for our next visit.

Lovely, peaceful site

Just back from this site, stayed for 2 nights. Easy to find, fab views. Fully serviced pitched for £12 per night, bargain. £10 deposit for key fob. Lovely owners, we will definitely be back.

The best C.L. we have every stayed on

This is without doubt the best C.L. site we have ever stayed on. We were met on arrival by the very helpful owner and shown to our pitch. The pitch was fully serviced. It was better than any we have stayed on at any club site. The site is situated in some of the most picturesque landscape you will see anywhere. It is convenient for Burnley,Nelson and Colne. We did not find any difficulty locating the site using S.A.T Nav. We had full signal on the T.V and were able to access the internet via wifi on our phones. We would thoroughly recommend the site to anyone wanting a quiet location in an immaculately kept site. There are plenty of activities to engage in walking cycling,visiting places of interest etc. We used it for visiting family but we could just as easily have enjoyed a holiday there. The family are to be commended on their commitment to making this C.L. second to none. As caravaners themselves they set very high standards on the facilities they offer,and I for one don't think they can be bettered.

First time visit

Ok minor problems with the Sat Nav & different views of the locals where this site was. But was worth it as when eventually found it the farmer was somewhere on the 100 acres of farmland, but had someone to let me in & set up the caravan. Very peaceful in the middle of know where, no WiFi, no TV signal (or I wasn't doing something right). Owner met me next morning & apologised about the misconfusing in the directions or most likely was me as well. Only 5 caravans permitted making it a nice & quiet place to stay, away from all the hassle. Just up the road a convince store (very friendly staff). Only a short drive to Berliegh. Defenetly recommend as going to book to go back again. Very dog friendly!.

Fantastic Location

We were made very welcome on arrival and the owner helped us position our van with his tractor. We were using this location to visit relatives and it was perfect for us and there are some amazing places to explore nearby. Everything is well maintained and toilet very clean. The fully serviced pitches certainly make everything easy. We also really liked the security of the site with electronic gate. Needed to give £10 deposit for the access key but well worth it. We can recommend this CL as a great place to stay.

Wonderful CL

When we arrived we were greeted by Ian and Marilyn Head and made to feel very welcome as we were directed onto the site and told where everything was. Throughout our nine-day stay they constantly stayed in touch and made sure that everything was to our satisfaction and also recommended some fantastic places of interest and restaurants. The site was kept beautifully clean and the scenery was second to none. One of the best CL sites we have stayed on. Would we stay there again – you bet! Would we recommend it to our friends – you bet!

Lovely C L

Quite and peaceful site and so close to good countryside. No milk for our first cup of tea, disaster, but site owner gave us a bottle of milk brilliant.

Perfect setting for a relaxing stay.

We have just returned from a perfect break at this site. The owners are extremely friendly and very helpful . We were made very welcome,shown a short cut for a walk over the fields to get to the village and given a lift into nearby Colne for the Blues Festival. This was such a kind gesture. The site is clean ,has all good facilities and very tranquil. We had to use the chocs to level the Motorhome but this was only slightly sloping. I would recommend this site and would certainly go again.
