Basic but beautiful
This is undoubtedly one of our favourite CLs down to its stunning views and sheer space. It’s basic and the water tape’s trickle would make filling up a chore if you weren’t otherwise distracted by the girls, a flock of nearby geese, or the infinity view over towards Stratford upon Avon. It’s pot luck on which view you get but there is so much space you will never get anything worse than a good view, and if you are in luck, the best spots are idyllic. The owner is friendly and helpful but does not intrude. An added bonus is when she sells local honey, literally made on site, and apples. For entertainment, there are regular displays of local buzzards, kestrels and kites, deer frolicking or gliders landing on the nearby airfield.
