Fantastic Site

One of our favourites with stunning views. Can walk to coast in 20 minutes. Pitch is on slope but owners provide blocks to help. Facilities good to include recycling. Tree swing for kids to play on. Local shop, need to drive, approx 1.5 miles away. Next farm sells vegetables and eggs. Enjoyed exploring the west of Wales. Owners pleasant. Thankyou!

Perfect peaceful site with awesome sunsets

Spent a week from 07 July on this wonderful site, arrived early afternoon and were met by Jane who showed us where to pitch. Very laid back about which way to pitch on the slightly sloping site with plenty of blocks available. The site is a good size allowing plenty of room between each unit; the toilet shower and rubbish point are a short walk across the field at the side of the house. Male and female toilets along with one separate electric shower (no extra charge), all facilities were kept clean and tidy during our stay. When we arrived there was lots of sea mist, so much that we couldn’t even see the sea, however the next morning the views out to sea were beautiful and we had no more mist during our stay, the sunsets every evening were to die for. It is an extremely peaceful site with almost no road noise and just the sounds of farm animals and birds in the background. Easy access to the coastal path for walkers, watch out for the path to the side of the church it is not well signposted. The beautiful coastal villages of Aberaeron and New Quay are a short drive away as are the lovely bays Llangrannog (park in the car park at the top of the hill and walk down to the bay) and Penbryn (National Trust car park and short walk to the bay). The National Trust property at Llanerchaeron is well worth a visit but beware the car park is locked around 5.30 so if like us you fancy a two mile walk into Aberaeron along an old railway track you may need to move your car to a lay-by about a quarter of a mile away. Jane and Gary are excellent hosts and although they have only recently taken over this site they are doing an excellent job and deserve every success in the future. I would have no hesitation in recommending this site to anyone that is looking for some peace and quiet and if you love walking you really won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be returning and by the way did I mention the sunsets :-)

Wonderful Site with sea views

Booked off the back of glowing reviews from friends for May half term and we weren’t disappointed. The field is large with very spacious pitches which slope slightly but not a problem as lots of blocks around. Very peaceful with sea views, plenty of room for children to run and explore, with a rope swing that kept the young kids entertained for hours, together with the newly hatched chicks. For teenagers super fast Wi-Fi. Two separate w/c’s plus a single shower and a laundry room with washer and dryer. All very clean and tidy. Jane and Gary took over the site in March, they are a lovely couple and nothing is too much trouble. We look forward to seeing their future plans comes to fruition. We had a chance to look at the bedrooms in the B&B which were amazing and finished to a very high standard, would highly recommend to family and friends who don’t caravan. Enjoyed our time their so much we have already booked for next year!

Peaceful and Fantastic Views

Spent 14 nights here from July to August. With family. We were greeted on arrival by the very friendly Michael and had the choice of 5 pitches, yes the site is sloping and it does say it on the app and website, but we found it easier to pitch length ways which was more suited to our caravan. the toilets and shower are ok and clean. the site is kept immaculate very well looked after by Michael and big on recycling, never seen so much that could be recycled.. the dog walk was great for early mornings and evenings plus our pup could enjoy the freedom of being off the lead with us knowing she was safe within it. Beautiful views from the site and very very quiet. Our granddaughters enjoyed playing on the swing and feeding the chickens and guinea pigs with EVIE Michaels granddaughter. Plus there were lots of information for us in the guinea pig and information room from woodland and coastal walks with maps available from Alison, to great place to visit books, games dvds etc and restaurants.. Great pity they are selling up and hope the new owners carry on with how it has been successfully run by Michael and Alison. Would we stay again, most definitely so many more surrounding places for us to explore

Lovely Llainfran

It's our last night here on Llainfran CL site and its been a fantastic 14 night stay. We were greeted by Michael as we arrived and had a choice of the 5 pitches. All pitches are on a steady slope so it was easier to pitch long ways so the awning went up nice. The dog walking area was perfect for early morning and evening walks. The toilets and shower were very good. If you want peace and quiet this is the perfect site. Our 2 daughters made good friends with Evie the owners granddaughter and spent many hours playing on the swing and looking after the chickens and guinea pigs. We found some excellent woodland and coastal walks thanks to Alison and she even provided us with a map and walking directions. I would definitely rate this site 10/10 and it's a shame that Michael and Alison are selling the site and moving on but when retirement calls you have to do it. All I can say is its beautiful and I hope the new owners keep it this way.

New Quay's Best Site

Usually when we go to New Quay we stay at the Club site at Shawsmead. But not any longer. Good site closer to the attractive harbour village of New Quay. All facilities that one could wish for. Good Coastal area. Mostly sandy beaches. On very quiet road. Site and cottages have just been sold. Lets hope new owner carries on the management of the site to the same standard

Great place to stay

We were greeted with very friendly and helpful owners on a lovely site which has great views. The site is well kept with the owner ready to mow the very large grassy area to keep it easy for walking when wet. The area around the site is beautiful with great walks. If you are lucky you will see seals and Dolphins in the bay's along the coast. In a nutshell this is a great site and area to visit.

Delightful stay

This was only our second stay on a CL, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The site is spacious and very well maintained, with a separate clean toilet for Ladies and Gents, along with a shower unit. The location is in an idylic rural location with both panoramic landscape and sea views. The quaint coastal resort of New Quay is only 3 miles away and well worth a visit. We found the proprietors to be very friendly and helpful, accordingly we will return to this site without any hesitation.

Nice CL

A nice week spent, though the British weather was not very kind to us. Route to the CL is a little awkward with a big unit. Site does slope, but blocks are provided. Nice dog walk is provided which we used a lot. Facilities are basic, but clean. New Quay is delightful, as is Abereron. The local micro brewery BBQ, and sculpture park are worth visiting.

very enjoyable short break

we have just returned from a short break and wished we could have stayed longer, but unfortunately work beckons. The weather was an added bonus but the site itself was lovely, so peaceful and idyllic . We received a warm welcome from the owners and any questions were answered.ps. Smudge sends his regards to Oscar and misses his fun and games.
