Super CL

I have never left a review before, but felt that in this case I should! This is a super CL. We stayed for two weeks during this incredibly hot summer. The site is pristine. We were so well looked after by the owners who were extremely friendly and amazingly helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We thoroughly appreciated the effort and commitment to making everyone’s stay both memorable and extremely pleasurable. Thank you so much again, we will definitely return.

Like a previous reviewer we ended up staying for extra 5 nights! A site that can't be faulted. Lovely scenery, peaceful, spacious and immaculately kept. We received a warm welcome upon arrival and were given a welcome pack which included biscuits for the dog! We have already decided we will be returning next year and have advised Mark and Vikki that we will be booking in the next few days. As soon as word gets out about this perfect site a pitch will be like gold dust - we should be keeping it a secret!!. Well done Mark and Vikki you have certainly got it right.

As Good As It Gets

We have caravanned off and on for 45 years and have never written a review. There is an element that says “if the site is good, let’s keep it a secret” and then there is the opposite saying, “perhaps it is just us not liking it because …. “ Well we are going to start reviewing as of now. We are elated to find a good site and we get disappointed when we find a bad or indifferent one. So we think it is time for a bit of honesty in these reviews Little Tree Meadow is an excellent CL. The owners Mark & Vicki are both charming and helpful. They have got the balance right in their approach and in every way of running a very nice CL. The site is kept in perfect condition with the grass being mown to 5mm. It has all of the facilities well laid out and signed. The location allows various excursions inland, to the sea and to the Broads. Everywhere seems to be a casual 20 minute drive. North Walsham is close by and has everything you need for day to day shopping. The site is peaceful in very pleasant surroundings. There is a adequate dog walk on site, with other walks nearby. The communication is excellent from booking and throughout the stay there. The welcome, complete with goodies bag, and even something for the pooch, makes the start of your stay gratifying. From conversations with Mark & Vicki it would appear that they intend the site to improve and offer even more ….. a true candidate for CL of the year perhaps !

Booked for 5 nights but stayed for 10!!

We booked 5 nights at this new CL and stayed for 10...think that tells you what we thought if it.

Arriving on a sunny day to a friendly welcome from Vicki we were delighted to find a immaculately mown grassed paddock.

Spacious pitches within the site and with views of the owners exceptional garden from all sides.

We saw red deer within the garden area on 3 occasions which was very special.

Easy trip into North Walsham, very nice small town (we cycled), National trust at Blickling. and Felbrigg. Close to lots of coastal towns and also Norwich (Park and ride)

Mark and Vicki are a very friendly couple and as new CL owners are eager for your feedback.

Don't hesitate to book this one you will not be disappointed.

Many apologies for the late review (second guests in June last year) but we did think we had posted this at the time.

Tranquil excellent site

We spent 10 fabulous nights there a few weeks ago and it’s a lovely, peaceful, tranquil site, and well maintained with plenty of space between pitches. The site is in a fenced-in area as part of a larger field, with woods along one side, and fairly level we didn’t need levelling blocks. There is recycling facilities and the usual waste disposal facilities, which are discreetly tucked away at the far corner of the field. A tree is placed on one side of the field labelled ‘grey water me’ that thrives on even soapy water. The owners, Mark and Vicki are lovely, and provided a gorgeous personalised welcome bag with biscuits, bread, milk and lots of information. They have produced a pretty trifold leaflet with lots of useful information including on-site and off-site info, and useful numbers also. They are keen to develop the site and are open to suggestions as it is a fairly new site. They have a few ideas and include a comments card to identify what customers prefer and encourage their suggestions. I guess it’ll be so popular soon that we won’t get on it in time to come. Fresh eggs are available on request, with a donation to the air ambulance. There is barely any road noise and most of what you hear is birds and wildlife, and there are three entertaining ducks and hens. Deer can be spotted on the adjacent field occasionally. It’s ideally situated to visit many different places in the area. Norwich park-and-ride is about 20 to 25 minutes drive away and a great service for visiting the city. Cromer is 25 minutes away, and the nearest beach is Mundesley approx 20 mins. Caister and Great Yarmouth are approximately 40 minutes away. 2 National Trust properties are within half an hour drive. The food at the Goat Inn is definitely worth a visit. The New Forge on the A140 near Aylsham is a pub/restaurant that serves Thai and English food, and we enjoyed some really good Thai food there. The Crab Pot cafe in Cromer do some fantastic crab sandwiches. Overall it’s an absolutely lovely site, and just the tonic we needed for a restful week. It’s a pleasure to just sit outside and enjoy the views and nature. Thanks Mark and Vicki, we will definitely return.

Superb Site

Just come back from 8 nights at this superb CL. Vicki and Mark were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We received a lovey letter following the booking. This gave instructions to the site, which when followed are superb and Spot on (we followed the Sat nav, which in hindsight was a mistake). Lovely quite site, in idyllic countryside not to far away from shops when required.

A cracking CL

I stayed here for 2 nights in August 2021. What a beautiful spot! After booking I received a really helpful confirmation letter giving excellent directions to the site and other useful information. After setting up the owner popped over and greeted me giving me a really thoughtful and useful welcome pack. The site is beautifully maintained, level and in a very peaceful part of Norfolk. Dog walking is excellent with plenty of footpaths. The Weavers Way provides lead-free walking, that's about 15 minutes away by foot along easily walked roads. North Walsham is about 40 minutes on foot or a bus passes outside. If you're interested: the Hop In is a Great micropub!

Peaceful CL site

What a lovely quiet site, level and very well kept. We booked it up at short notice for the weekend and we're glad we did. We found it a good place to cycle from - lots of quiet country lanes with minimal traffic. We're new to towing with a double axle caravan, and looking at Google street view at various places along the lanes from the main road, we were VERY anxious about the width of the lanes, but we followed Vickie's directions and there was absolutely no problem and the directions were perfect. Looking forward to going back later on in the year.

Excellent CL site

On having a weeks holiday booked at home and the weather turning glorious we decided to try to find a site at short noticed and you can imagine what that was like. Eventually came across Little Tree Meadow rang but had to leave message but not long after Vicki rang back. Being very helpful and accommodating for us to book in. Journey down was great until the last bit with the Sat Nav would suggest not to follow theses direction and ask Vicki and Mark for directions. On arriving at the site was presented with a very beautiful, pretty well kept site. Partner started to set up while I took the dog for a walk and kept him occupied. Met Vicki on the way out while she was attending to the pretty flower borders, very friendly lady and very helpful with pointing out the dog walks around the area. Felt very relaxed in such a lovely quiet site. Surrounded by countryside Fields one side and woodlands the other. Lots of wild life to see even seeing a red female deer with her baby fawn on an early morning dog walk. After finally settling in on arrival Mark came over to gives us a welcome pack and was very surprised to receive a pint of milk, loaf of Bread and packet of biscuits. Plus a few information/menu and attractions leaflet. What a lovely thoughtful welcoming pack. With the chickens wondering about eggs were also given when we liked. Another thoughtful gesture. Just not sure what the dog thought to the chickens and cockerel on their visit lol. Mark and Vicki we wish you all the luck in developing this little gem of a site you have and carry on with what you want to achieve. You have gone above and beyond, looking forward on when we return again. Thank you
