A lovely site, so quiet and peaceful. Site is level and well maintained. Easy flat walk through the farmers field to the lighthouse and beach. Large formations of geese passing over head and owls hooting in the evening, lovely. Mr and Mrs Flavell are such lovely people. Our dog sadly became poorly and we had to visit an emergency vet. They offered to take us to the vets if we wished, so kind.
Customer service at its best, Unfortunately we had to cut our visit short as a result which was such a shame. Would highly recommend
Could be wonderful
A beautiful site. Large and with lovely trees. Sadly no view of the lighthouse due to tall hedge. Lots of space and would easily take the six vans that were there every night and seven on one night. However the pitches are not well spaced and while some have bountiful space with only one van, we had to share the smallest pitch on the site with another van. If the pitches were spread out more evenly we would give the site a higher rating.

Could be perfect
Fantastic location, excellent views of Happisburgh lighthouse. Well kept site with clearly marked pitches and a board on arrival telling you your pitch number. The only reasons I’ve dropped a star is because of 3 dogs being allowed to run around off leash as mentioned before and it does clearly state on the info sheet to keep them under control on a lead. I also thought that the Club allowed 5 units on a CL where this is operating 6 vans, perhaps that’s changed? We would definitely return and explore more of the coastline.
Pleasant stay again at Tony's CL.
Lovely CL site well manicured lawns and Tony is a very friendly obliging chap.
This is our second time here this year and it is a great location for some lovely coastal villages and town and also for Bacton woods which is perfect for people and dogs alike. Mostly very friendly people on this lovely little location.
Dogs
Shame all people can't follow rules ,currently 3 dogs from same van running off lead with the occasional "come here" to be heard 😔....lovely little site apart from this.
Easter stay
We stayed here at Easter for the weekend - and had another fantastic stay.
We have stayed twice before and as always a warm welcome by Tony. This site really is a jewel on the Norfolk coast - beautifully maintained, large pitches.
Good access to the site (as per the directions - avoid using sat nav) and a nice walk to the small town of Happisburgh. Good road access to other areas along the coast. Good access to the beach and walks along the cliffs.
We will look forward to returning to this site.
Peaceful Stay
Just back from a 3 night stay here. Lovely big well drained field with plenty of space in between the 5 pitches. Made very welcome by the owner, Tony. Easy walk to the local pub, although we didn’t eat there as they had an event on. 15 min walk to coast path and then along the coast path to Cart Gap where we had lunch in the Smallsticks Cafe. Nice food, quirky little beach huts for extra indoor eating. The lighthouse can be seen from the site, not on all pitches but just a short walk away. Open on set days through the summer. Perfect site for a quiet break. We will definitely visit again.

Lovely site
Short grass on huge, well spaced out pitches which are allocated on arrival. The notice board clearly tells you which one is yours but if you can get pitch B that is the one with the view of the lighthouse. Water and toilet emptying are close and you empty waste water into the hedge. The owner Lives on the site but comes and walks round the site each day and is extremely welcoming. Easy to visit the broads from here.
Great Little CL
We stayed here for 7 nights in May and really cannot fault anything.
The grass pitches are huge so there is plenty of room for sitting out.
We walked down to the beach via the footpath through the fields. It is a nice easy flat walk. Luckily we went at the weekend as the access to the beach is not open during the week as they are working on restoring it.
We walked along the beach to Cart Gap beach and went to the Smallsticks cafe which was lovely and had lots of outside seating if you have a dog.
We drove up to Cromer one day and went to a lovely little place called Sheringham. Well worth a visit.
We enjoyed the stay but have probably seen all we want to see in the area so would probably stay further up the coast next time.
