A wonderful view over RAF Leuchars the river Eden and St Andrews combined with a most friendly and helpful welcome. We stayed 4 weeks and it flew by. I would recommend the site to all members but book early as those who use it tend to return! A peaceful and beautiful site but with that comes a drive to the nearest shops (none in Strathkiness) and looking down over the estuary it is exposed. Local pub with food (1/2 mile) not tried but others on the site recommended it, easy approach even for bigger outfits, hard standings possible and needed for heavy outfits (but you may not have the same vista) convenient water and disposal arrangements. Some pitches slope but there are plenty of chocks and blocks available. We will return.
