Utter bliss!

I completely agree with the other reviews. Mine is from the view of a motorhome user. I went out everyday with ease, and everywhere was accessible. The narrowed lanes too, with plenty of pull ins. Spurn point being a good example. The hardstanding pitch is level and weed free with masses of personal grass spacing to use. The views over the fields are spectacular and there are beautiful, dry and level walks through the fields, directly from the site. I loved to wake to the sound of birdsong, in particular the skylarks. The only other sounds are the agricultural vehicles passing or horses clopping by. There are a clutch of houses in this small hamlet and little else; but the information hut gives plentiful details of nearby eateries. And the cherry on the cake for me was an OS map of the area on display! Hornsea was my favourite destination offering a superb museum, a mere with lovely walks, a promenade with ceramic artworks, a retail outlet for motorhome parking plus a large tesco with 3hrs parking and a direct short walk into the town. Wassand Hall, woodlands and walled garden must also be mentioned, but check its calendar for open/garden days. All in all, I loved this cl so much, I asked the lovely Elaine if I could stop on a few more days. Despite the unseasonably cold June I was able to sit outside the van and watch the weather coming in and thunderstorm clouds drift across Holderness but not over us. If one did, you get plenty of visual warning! All in all, this cl is now a firm favourite and if the hardstanding are taken next time, the remaining grass ones are huge, flat and really well drained. Thanks kenby farm. You have delivered!
