Exvellent CL site

We have just returned from a lovely weekend at Kenby Farm CL in East Yorkshire. It is a traditional CL site with fresh water, rubbish and recycling, Elsan point, ehu and an information shed. Everywhere is very neat, tidy and clean. The grass is short and all cuttings are cleared away. Elaine is very welcoming and the information she sends out with directions is very good. All this for £18.00 per night. We can highly recommend to anyone going to this area.

A First Class CL

We have not long returned from a wonderful few days here. Easy booking via email and Elaine sent us directions and pitching details so arrival and setting up was easy. The site is so spacious and open with a choice of hardstanding or grass, the hardstanding pitches were level, no need for blocks. All facilities are very good, even Picnic tables are provided and there is a great shed with lots of information on the area, including maps/walks. It's lovely and quiet, just the odd tractor and passing car. There is plenty to do in the area,we visited the Street Life museum in Hull which was really interesting. We even ventured up the coast to RSPB Bempton Cliffs. The butchers/bakers in Roos was very good, as were the local pubs. Free range eggs are also available for sale by the gate. It really is a lovely CL and as there is still lots we would like to see and do in the area I am sure we will be back.🙂

Utter bliss!

I completely agree with the other reviews. Mine is from the view of a motorhome user. I went out everyday with ease, and everywhere was accessible. The narrowed lanes too, with plenty of pull ins. Spurn point being a good example. The hardstanding pitch is level and weed free with masses of personal grass spacing to use. The views over the fields are spectacular and there are beautiful, dry and level walks through the fields, directly from the site. I loved to wake to the sound of birdsong, in particular the skylarks. The only other sounds are the agricultural vehicles passing or horses clopping by. There are a clutch of houses in this small hamlet and little else; but the information hut gives plentiful details of nearby eateries. And the cherry on the cake for me was an OS map of the area on display! Hornsea was my favourite destination offering a superb museum, a mere with lovely walks, a promenade with ceramic artworks, a retail outlet for motorhome parking plus a large tesco with 3hrs parking and a direct short walk into the town. Wassand Hall, woodlands and walled garden must also be mentioned, but check its calendar for open/garden days. All in all, I loved this cl so much, I asked the lovely Elaine if I could stop on a few more days. Despite the unseasonably cold June I was able to sit outside the van and watch the weather coming in and thunderstorm clouds drift across Holderness but not over us. If one did, you get plenty of visual warning! All in all, this cl is now a firm favourite and if the hardstanding are taken next time, the remaining grass ones are huge, flat and really well drained. Thanks kenby farm. You have delivered!

Relaxing and Peaceful

We stayed here over May bank holiday weekend, we are quite new to the Motor home/Caravan world, this is an absolutely great set up, my hook up cable wasn't long enough to reach the connection so Elaine the site owner had a spare in the information shed, which saved the day. We would recommend this site, nothing is too much trouble for Elaine too, extremely helpful. We also had great weather so had some nice walks and breakfast alfresco.

Just perfect 🤩

We are at the end of a two week stay at Kenby Farm CL. A warm welcome awaits from Elaine & we couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay. Beautiful clean facilities a great info shed & lovely walks from the farm. 3 new perfect hard standing pitches very well spaced out with lots of room. Elaine is at the end of the phone if you need her but leaves you to enjoy your time without intruding which is just how we like it we don’t need to be hassled by cl owners as does often happens. Plenty to do in the area just a short journey away. Lovely views with newly planted hedges everywhere. Please remember this is a working farm there are some tractors, busy farming life & sometimes a bit smelly but this adds to the beauty of it in our opinion it’s just lovely so please do not give a bad opinion because of this if you don’t like farm environments don’t stay!! The owners really have done the absolute best they can to make a lovely peaceful place to stay & we are reluctant to recommend it to others as we’d like to keep it a secret just for ourselves. Phone & tv signal great. Dog friendly & great walks from site. Well done Elaine & family we think you’ve got it just right🥳

A warm welcome

Conveniently located between Hornsea and Withernsea. A lovely big field with plenty of room for five vans on a busy working farm. You can see for miles across the fields and enjoy the beautiful sunsets! The owners have done everything to make the site appealing …. Picnic tables, a bench seat and an information shed. Excellent TV and phone signal. Thank you!

Very spacious new site

We had a lovely 3 night stay at this spacious new site on a working farm. Huge grass pitches with views over farm fields with glorious sunsets. Lots of very useful information in the hut including distances to fuel, beaches and other places of interest. Elaine is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Very peaceful and relaxing. Excellent phone & tv reception!
