Outstanding

This is certainly the best site we have stayed on. Peaceful, quiet and beautifully maintained. Nothing has been overlooked in its design and the owners could not be more helpful. Pitches are generous and we thought the off pitch parking for cars was a brilliant idea. Cars are close enough to be easily accessed but meant the ‘living’ area was uncluttered and spacious.

Exceeds all expectations, with every detail attended to.

A beautifully maintained site; run by a nice hard working family. Each, very private, hard standing, level pitch, has exclusive access to power, water and drainage. In addition there is a drive-over grey water service point for motorhomes. All the facilities for waste disposal were immaculately maintained and easily accessible. Access to the site is easy, but do follow the owners directions to get there. The grounds are very well maintained and it has a feeling of peace and space. Apart from the very occasional grass cutting, all we could hear was birdsong. A very relaxing few days, with a short walk into Market Deeping for a pint of Timothy Taylor. What's not to love about that? We hope to return again and again.

Outstanding in every way

If you are searching for peace and tranquillity in a beautifully maintained environment of trees and shrubs then look no further than Keal Lodge. Plenty of local walking and cycling with a supermarket and bakery within a mile, this is an ideal escape and one which we will certainly return to again in the future. A great credit to the owners and their helpers. Mark & Beverley

A great peaceful site, very secure.

We arrived at 6pm but Keith welcomed us and spent a long time helping us onto the hardstanding and explaining where everything was. There was free wi-fi, the pithches were fully serviced with waste water and fresh water supply. There is a nice walk along the river Welland into either Mkt Deeping or Deeping St James. We went to the Waterton Arms which is not serving food between 2pm and 5pm due to ...The virus! The next day we walked into Mkt Deeping, there is a fair selection of cafes, shops and pubs. This time we went into the Vine which was welcoming but I think it is just a drinking pub. All in all, a short break but a very quiet site, we felt safe and we are looking forward to coming back again sometime,

Excellent standards maintained during difficult times

We have just spent another wonderful stay at this excellent site. As we have been shielding during the pandemic we were both wary of using our caravan for the first time since lockdown finished. However, we need not have worried. Alison, Keith and Helen have made sure that this site and all procedures are as COVID safe as they can be from arrival arrangements, sanitising stations and use of the shared toilet emptying point. A big bonus here are the fully serviced pitches that limit contact with other caravanners. The pitches are well spaced out around a central area. At no time did we feel unsafe or threatened by the circumstances. We have already booked our next stay. Thank you for all the effort that you have put in to the site.

How a good run CL site should be

Our 1st visit and as newbies to caravanning really appreciated the help and advice from the owners and the other caravanners Extremely well laid out site with trees and privacy all immaculately kept-even down to paving slabs for caravan accurately levelled -no messing about trying to get the van levelled -services well laid out in the centre -so no long trailing leads/hoses great for the dog with the well kept field and good sized poo bins and a secure entry/exit gate which was very reassuring. All in all exactly what you want from a CL site at reasonable money We wish Keith, Alison and Helen all the best for the future and look forward to returning next year Steve and Jackie

Hidden Gem

Recently spent a quiet, relaxing and peaceful weekend at this hidden gem. The site is surrounded by beautiful countryside with a tranquil river approx 400 metres from the site gates. The site is beautifully landscaped with a mixture of colorful trees, bushes, shrubs and plants bordering all of the pitches. Excellent fully serviced level pitches make caravanning easy even for novices such as ourselves. We felt extremely relaxed during our stay and the owners have done an excellent job making the site Covid secure. Nothing is too much trouble and Alison, Helen and Keith are always on hand to offer a helping hand, professional advice and a friendly welcoming smile. We have yet to find a site which can match Keal lodges relaxed, tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. Louise and Tony

Great little CL

Our first visit to this thoughtfully planned out CL with fully serviced, hardstanding pitches which were placed to give each caravan a degree of privacy. The services were easy to access and close to each caravan therefore keeping cables and water hoses on your own pitch. We were welcomed warmly on arrival [observing social distancing] by Helen who runs the site with her parents and were taken to our allotted pitch and shown where the recycle facility, emptying point and dog walk was. The security of the site was excellent with each visitor being given an electronic key to leave and access the site for the duration of their stay. An information room gives information on the area and also a well stocked book exchange which unfortunately due to Covid we were unable to access at this time but we will be returning soon.

A wonderful relaxing break

This is the best CL site that we have ever been to, the owners have obviously spent alot of time and effort getting this site to such a high standard, they seem to have thought of everything, great hardstanding, good space between units, a fantastic welcome, with detailed information pack on arrival, the owners are really friendly and approachable, there is a great local walk around the river, we also hired a car from the local rental dealer to give us some great days out, I can especially recommend Rutland Water, the thing I don't understand is why it was so quiet, I thought a site like this would be packed all the time, but it wasn't , we had most of the site to ourselves all week, a great CL in a beautiful area.
