Outstanding Site
We struggle to think what more you could wish for when visiting Lincolnshire once you have been to Ings Farm. First of all booking was very easy and you could see from the owner website the specific pitches available to choose from. Getting there and set up a breeze, plenty of communication on getting there and what to expect on arrival. Location is bliss because it is at end of a lane so zero traffic noise other than maybe an occasional tractor going about its work. Views are classic lincolnshire which means you can see a long long way, big skies and great sunsets. Walks available from site which you can vary .... we walked to the beach, local farm tracks, quiet lanes etc with dog and exceptionally easy. Nice big and level pitches, owners easy going about which orientation you have the caravan so we decided to point out towards the field from front window so make sure you have long enough waste and water pipes if you do that. Fully serviced pitches, a loo and a recycling/waste station plus a sitting area where I could store my bike. The field itself has lots of space for walking your dog and the owners have been growing hedges to increase wind protection. We took walks in the Wolds, amazing Beach walks on beautiful days where we were the only people on the beach. Yes there are some really busy static sites ... rammed to be honest and packed ... but you don't need to look more than 0.5 mile from most of these and you have things all to yourself. Louth great especially the park near golf course, Lincoln beautiful. We drove past many sites that were packed with expensive touring caravans, parked close to each other, next to busy roads etc .... it is beyond me why people would choose that type of base over Ings Farm. Only help we could not get resolved is that we were just beyond the range of the free wifi on our pitch and the phone data signal (three) was a bit patchy so although I expect they will improve this, if it is important to you to have a better connection then get a pitch nearer the house or use the summer house. This is a relatively new site that is clearly on the up ... if you thinking about visiting Linc and using this site, do it now before the secret gets out and it gets full all the time.
