We only spent 3 nights here but thoroughly enjoyed it. Loads of space, nice views, sunny and really quiet. £20 per night including a shower/toilet block and 10A EHU was very reasonable. On our two complete days we walked into Salcombe by different routes and on the second day visited NT Overbeck which was a highlight. I walked halfway to Kingsbridge and would have gone the whole way with more time. There is a regular bus service between Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Totnes which we might use in the future. Our Satnav appeared to take us to the site by the recommended route but it didn’t and we ended up turning off the Salcombe Kingsbridge road too soon. May sure you don’t turn off until you are past Malborough. If you do you will see the local bus stop and a garden centre shop/café which is an easy walk from the site. There is an Asda Express in Marlborough and a Co-op in Salcombe.
