Lovely place to stay

We booked to stay for a long weekend towards the end of September. Our car ‘died’ whilst towing, about 25 miles short of the site. It looked like we were in for a very long wait for repair or recovery, bless the owners, he offered to come and collect our ‘van and bring it to the site. Once we had arrived, and overcame our car problems, we had a lovely stay. The site is beautifully quiet and peaceful, the surrounding area is lovely, yet not too far away from places of interest. David took us on a tour of some of the working farm, demonstrating the working sheep dogs as we went round. It was all very interesting. He keeps some very good looking pedigree Aberdeen Angus cattle too. Our stay seemed altogether too brief, we would have been happy to stay for longer. Thank you David and Wendy for your hospitality, and for the offers of help because of our ignominious arrival on site!
