David and Wendy made our stay very special. It was the end of lambing season and we helped feed new born lambs and felt very much part of it. David took us out in his 'mule' (4x4) to feed his sheep one day and see the sheepdogs at work - very special memories. Did two walks (7-8miles) from the campsite and drove to Malham to do the classic Malham Cove, Gordale Scar and Janet's Foss walk, but is possible to walk to Malham but adds about 7-8 miles to the walk. One toilet that was spotless, chemical disposal a bit basic but ok. 5 pitches all with views over the farm. Two Rhea birds in field next to site and lots of cows and sheep in fields. Just about got a mobile signal, no WiFi but elec hookup. Overall, we had a first class experience and can't rate David and Wendy high enough.
