This site is nicely tucked away and quiet but with easy access to the surrounding places of interest. 4 hardstandings and one grass pitch. A loo which is rustic but clean, grey waste for MH's. The owner Mark, a friendly fellow is working hard to make the place more comfortable and attractive having only opened as a CL in the last year or so.
Will stay again when in area.
Good experience
Mark and Linda were especially welcoming. The site is spacious, with level hard standings. The surrounding grounds were interestingly laid out. We enjoyed the cycling around the area. We were certainly well looked after.
Relaxing week in Devon
Had a very peaceful week at this CL spacious pitches and a very warm welcome from Mark. Easy to find, good location, very clean and tidy - well kept site.
Would return and recommend to others.
A fine couple of nights
We stopped over just for a couple of nights at this really easy to get to CL - just 5 minutes from A30. Easy access. Received a really warm and friendly welcome from Mark. Couldn't have been more helpful settling us in. Pleanty of room to move the van about and, despite ongoing work to improve facilities, we wanted for nothing during our stay. We needed to use the van to go off and visit A La Ronde.
Interesting bits and bobs to take in on the site too as you're perched up above the garden and stables area. Somewhere a little bit different.I've no problem recommending the site to others.
Many Thanks
What a great CL site, nice clean and tidy. Linda and Mark made us so welcome. Linda's bread, scones and the eggs a real treat. The pitch at the end gave us fantastic views and was so level we had no need to jack any side up Excellent. We have visited the site now over 4 years and have seen the improvements Mark has made , well done Mark.
Will see you again in 2017. Good luck for a busy 2016 season.

I didn't need the spirit level
Well, what can I say, this is the most level site we have stayed on, being developed by an ex-marine, and all things ship shape, what a Great find to realise it's open 365 days per year, we used this site as a base to visit family and shopping in Exeter, in the dead of Winter, but looking at surrounding countryside it must be a real eye opener in spring/summer, Mark & Linda made us really welcome, and we will be returning later this year, Wonderful CL.

A Happy Christmas
Just spent a lovely time over Christmas at this friendly CL with our motorhoming mates Peter and Carole. Our hosts, Mark and Linda and Rosy the Hound could not have been more friendly and helpful. A warm welcome, followed by offers of help as well as eggs and freshly baked bread all on a small, nicely laid out site, that was still undergoing transformation and improvements. Weather was wet and windy but very mild so walking out into the lovely surrounding countryside was a little limited. A Christmas with a difference in a lovely location surrounded by nice people. Just great.
Needs some tlc
We visited here in August, the site needs some TLC, Toilet disposal disgusting, the toilet was a portaloo that they have on building sites with a small sink outside (as in outside) it is all in closed by fencing panels. The owner was building another pitch straight in front of our pitch, this he started work on at about 8am on the sunday morning. Very well positioned for Sidmouth and other places to visit, did not think that it was worth £15 a night.
One of the best site visited in 8 years of membership
This site is just into its second year, but is maturing into a wonderful place. Mark and Linda make you very welcome and provide information about the area. Lots of room between units (in fact Mark ensures that more than the minimum safe distance is met) We have a motor home which sometimes proves difficult to find places to visit which provide parking, but Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton have excellent parking for any size of unit. There is a pub at Tipton St John a 2 mile walk away. It was busy when we went so not able to rate. We got most of our vegetables from the little hut at the site entrance and also free range eggs.
Mark and Linda will see us again for sure.

Enjoyable stay
A very enjoyable stay over the Bank Holiday weekend. The site is well maintained and quiet but the owners made us feel welcome and were very helpful. Conveniently placed for Sidmouth, Exeter, Dartmoor and beyond this adults only CL will become a regular of ours.
