Bank Holiday Visit

we decided to stay at the Honeypot due the reviews that we had read and were not dissapointed. we arrived around 18:00 on the Friday evening following a 5 1/2 hour drive and were welcombe by Connor who despite his young age was very profesional and showed us around all the facilities. I was surprised that we had the last pitch but was told by Connor that its been like this all season. So if your deciding to go I would book early as it seems a very popular site. I thought the scenery across the vally was beautifull. The showers were pay as you go but it was only £1 for 6 minutes so make sure you have some pound coins as this is all the meter takes. I have marked down the peace and tranquility score but that was only because the site is on a main raod and I was awoken at 4 in the morning by road traffic but aside from that we had a wonderfull stay at a lovely location especially as you have a Gastro pub on site and the food is geat and also reasonably priced, we had a 2 course meal with beer and coffee for 2 all for £32!! we would definately visit again especially as this site is owned and managed by Club Members and we should all support them for their great venture especially as the surrounding locale has several independant caravan sites which looked soleless with little or no views.

Very enjoyable weekend

We booked to stay at the Honeypot inn after reading the great reviews. Everyone of these proved to be 100 % true! A friendly welcome by Connor and a choice of pitches, the views are magnificent from which ever pitch you choose. The road was fairly busy but the noise was not noticeable due to the hedge along one side of the site. The food and beer were both amazingly good value (ribs come highly recommended). What Connor has achieved at such a young age is fantastic and the Caravan Club should reward people who have such hunger for success. This site will keep getting better and better with all Connors future plans. We will see you again soon if you have space.

Beautiful place

We chose this CL because we wanted to visit Bempton Cliffs, and by the way your caravan club card gets you in free, it is a stunning place. All the facilities at the Honeypot inn are excellent, there are lovely views, lots of wildlife and Connor the site manager is a mine of information about anything you need to know, what a lovely young man, we are sure he will go far!  There is free wifi inside the Honeypot inn and the food is very good as well, we had a most enjoyable stay and we will certainly go again we are sure.

Location

When booking this CL it was all about location as we wanted to visit Bempton and Flambrough. Site was easy to find with no access problems. Site has good facilities, EHU (We elected to pitch by the fence which would maximise the views of the wolds so had to use 2 x electric cables). Toilet/showers (£1 for 6 minutes), Grey and chemical waste. Site Fees £15/night. There is a little road noise but nothing that caused us any concern. Dog walking direct from site, cross the road by the pub and go thro gate and walk to the top of the hill for costal views. Try the food and drink in the pub, good beer and large food portions, very good value for money. Pub has free wifi although I couldn't source it. Connor is a great host who whilst still at college is full of enthusiasm for his business. If in the area we would use again

Lovely site

We were greeted by Connor who seems to run the site only a young man but extremely helpful and runs a great little site. He bought us bus timetables, leaflets and was on site every day emptying bins and just checking around a credit to his parents and this young man will go far! The site itself is beautiful flat and immaculate we didn't use the showers as we have our own but can only imagine they would be fine. The inn serves wonderful food all homemade and my goodness the portion sizes! I couldn't get near to finishing mine but reg did manage it. Would highly recommend, we were there in our motorhome p!entry to see and do. Will definitely return.
