Peaceful Views

We stayed here at the end of July 2023. It is a large site with lots of room between other caravans. It has level pitches with waste, electric and water for each pitch. We were amazed to find ourselves the only campers during our stay but we thoroughly enjoyed the tranquillity. There is a coded electronic gate at the entrance giving you peace of mind that your caravan is secure whilst you are out. It is a new site, so the grass does need to thicken up and there are rabbits that dig, but that is the countryside and will be easily remedied. There is a wind turbine near the site as stated on other reviews, but we did not hear it and it is out of site from the pitches. We were very late booking online, so did not get an email prior to arriving but were met at the gate with full apologies and an email very quickly arrived with all necessary details. We have a large 5th wheel caravan that was welcomed and the site has all necessities to cater for it, including a wide entrance which is easy to negotiate and the automatic gate gives you plenty of time to get through before closing. I can see lots of potential for the site in the very near future. It is very well positioned for local attractions, restaurants and supermarkets. We will definitely visit again. The only negatives are that there is a minimum 3 night stay which will make it difficult for us to visit for weekends which is such a shame as we would be able to use the site a lot more if we could come on a Friday evening and leave on a Sunday. I feel the £2 dog fee is unnecessary as it makes the site slightly more expensive against other sites nearby.
