Our experience of this site was extremely disappointing. After a journey of 130 miles we discovered; 1. We could not access the site due to being given the wrong security code. There was no personal greeting but eventually, we made contact by phone, with the owner, who corrected the error and we gained access 2. The site was very overgrown and completely neglected - none of the grass pitches had been cut for a very, very long time and an ant infestation and rabbit holes covered the field . As none of the pitches were fit for purpose, we contacted the owner again and explained we would be leaving and asked for a refund. We received an apology from the owner and a full refund but were still left having to find an alternative site at very short notice, in peak season! What a shame - investment has been made in creating fully serviced pitches on this site, which is in a lovely area but the site is in urgent need of more management and maintenance .
