Wanted to echo some others reviews regarding Home Cottage Farm where we stayed a couple of weeks ago as an overnight stopover from the east to the southwest. Booking the site was nice and easy and we were warmly greeted by the owner who took our fee and directed us to the site. There are the basic facilities but no electric which suited us. We parked up where we wanted and were alone for the night. The site is very peaceful, despite being so close to the M25. You could hear the motorway but this was really just background noise and would did not detract from the frequent Kite calls (there were loads flying around!). The grass was well kept and access needs care but was easy from the main road. The site is only 5 mins from the M40 Jn and another Jn on to the M25 so is ideal for a stopover (as we did) or if visiting London where a tube station is close by. All in a all great 1 night experience. If you have good batteries and solar then a longer stay would be fine but the owners seemed to be able to charge batteries also. The farm is a pick your own which in season, would be lovely. Nice CL and recommended by us.
