Stayed here for a week in August 2017, wished we had stayed longer! Very easy to get to, great welcome from Gerald and his wife, what a nice man! Loads of space, very quiet, set well back from the road and surrounded by trees, level and dry. Nice pub next door, didn't eat there but must be good because it was fully booked when we tried to get a table! Stanhoe is a nice little village which we have driven through hundreds of times on our way to the coast, decided we would give it a try staying inland a bit and must say we really enjoyed the peace and tranquility. Great location for cycling and walking on the quiet country lanes and still within easy reach of the coast, we will most definitely be back and for two weeks next time!
