I can only echo the other reviews. Lovely CL with mown lawn, lots of space and ability to move pitch from where previous users have been to let the grass recover from awnings etc. Facilities are good. TV reception is from East Yorkshire so no local TV news, at least with the antenna pointing in the same direction as the roof aerial on the cottage! One star deducted as the last 10 miles of approach roads from Kings Lynn are very bumpy making caravan travel tiresome but this is not really the fault of the site! Oh! And do NOT tow through Cley-next-the-Sea and even solo its a nightmare even though it's an A road. Mr. Oldfield has three CL signs out including the terrible new CAMC one.
Outstanding site!
We are converted! This was our first stay at a cl site and we absolutely loved it. The site is just beautiful, it is spacious and so well maintained. The wonderful owners Gerald and Sheila are delightful and helped us without hesitating when one of our dogs became unwell, we honestly can't thank them enough for the hospitality.
We highly recommend this site and can't wait to return to this gem.
Charming CL.
Gerald Oldfield's CL is a delight. All the usual requirements to hand on a beautifully manicured grass field. We were met on arrival and shown around the site and then left to our own devices. Stanhoe is a charming little hamlet with easy access to Burnham Market and other similar places.
Will definitely book to stay again in the future!

A lovely site
We booked quite late and managed to stay 6 nights in July 2015. It's the first time we have stayed an extended period at a CL. It is an uncluttered generally flat grass site in a nice setting. There is plenty of room and Gerald (the owner) is flexible as to where you set up. The owners are very helpful and they have BT Wifi (works by their back door - they have thoughtfully provided a bench to sit on!). Whilst there are no toilets or showers, there is electricity and water, which was all we needed. There is a pub, literally next door, but it is now very much a a gastro destination pub and when we arrived on Monday it was ostensibly booked up for lunch and dinner all week, though they squeezed us in on the Monday at 6.30pm, but frankly it was a a bit over-priced and not that special. There are numerous wonderful places to eat within 15 minutes drive and Burnham Market is a delight. All in all a terrific site and we shall be back.

Beautiful site
This is a really lovely site. It's well maintained and sunny with trees giving a certain amount of privacy. Mr Oldfield was very friendly and helpfull and did all he could to make us welcome. We'll definitely be going back!
happy days
Very nice welcome when we arrived on our first time away caravanning. The site is well kept, slightly sloping , sheltered and peaceful . Close to local sights and places of interest. Owners very helpful and ready with information if required. Will go back again as I think this would be difficult to beat.
Perfect weekend
We have just returned from our very first caravanning holiday, this was a lovely peaceful site ideally located for access to Burnham Market, Brancaster, Holkham and Wells. It's also right next door to the Duck Inn where the menu looked amazing and dogs are welcome in the garden.Mr Oldfield was friendly and helpful, we would definitely recommend this site and look forward to a return visit.
Our first visit but will definitely be back
We had a really enjoyable stay on this lovely and tranquil site. Access is via the owners wide drive, I was a little concerned initially as our van is a twin and 8m long but the owner had kindly cut back the borders for us and we were able to negotiate without drama (thank you Mr Oldfield!)
The site is mainly level and pitches are to the side of the meadow in the sun, plenty of space between each and the grass smooth. The Duck Inn is a two minute walk from the site and servers some fantastic food - well worth a visit and saves a drive, you are really close the Burnham Market which is just delightful with its specialist shops and the coast and all the walks is only a little further on. Owner was very welcoming and accommodating, we will certainly be back soon
may bankholiday stay 2014
we have visited many CL's in our three years since starting caravaning. but this weekend we visited this lovely site for the first time. Everything was excellant and within easy access for wherever your van was situated. Close to many of Norfolks attractions. But far enough away to be able to enjoy the piece and quite when required.the owners where excellant with nothing to much trouble. with information of places to visit provided when asked. We booked for a further long weekend in July while there. Such was our total satisfaction
