What A Gem

Well what can I say This site is amazing and views are fantastic in such a lovely area. The welcome you get at this site from Ashley and Alison is amazing still get the same welcome as we did when we first came Ali meets you at the gate and ashley is up on cl and helps you pitch yes you need levelling blocks but ashley provides them for you, nothing is too much trouble. we will keep going back

A very Nice CL

If you are looking to stay in this area then look no further than Holly Tree Cottage. Nice views, tranquil, good size pitches and easy access. A helpful welcome pack provided and telephone contact a few day prior to our reservation to confirm arrangements and route. We would certainly visit again when in the area. As previously mentioned, 'The George' is a nice local dog friendly pub within walking distance from the CL specialising in pies. Alternatively 'The Dunkirk' also dog friendly at Lower Denby is one mile away with a much more varied menu and good value for money.

Lovely site

This is a lovely CL with beautiful views, it is immaculately maintained. You always get a warm welcome from Alision and Ashley. A very friendly pub in the village The George , you must try their homemade pie and peas, plenty of places to go from the CL, ideal for walkers

Five Star CL

Alison was there to greet us and as a storm was brewing she found us a sheltered spot and found an extra long hook up cable for us. The perfect welcome. The weather was atrocious but we had four lovely nights stay despite the weather. All facilities were perfect, the toilet waste disposal was the best I have come across. We hope to be back in sunnier times.

Tranquility amongst rolling hills

A lovely place, made even nicer by the owners Ashley and Alison. Easy access but complete tranquility looking out over the rolling hills into the distance. Lots of great walking, we will be back for longer next time - thank you!

A Cracking CL

We stayed at Holly Tree Cottage CL for 8 nights in May. Alison and Ashley have developed a cracking CL, we were welcomed on arrival and provided with an information folder packed with local places of interest. The site is immaculately maintained and we had a great view from our pitch. The local pub, The George, serves great ale and a wide selection of pie and peas. There is plenty to do locally and easy access to great walking country, we mixed local walks with trips to the moors. It is definitely a CL we will be looking to return to before too long. You can see the walks we did whilst staying here on our blog https://twodogsandanawning.co.uk/site/holly-tree-cottage-cl/

Chilly weekend!!

Welcome at the gate warmed two cold bods and hound up no end!! When caravanners mention warm welcome they haven't met Alison and Ashley . Finding site a toddle no narrow Hair raising lanes or taunting high roads. Neighbours a delight Jacob Sheep fun to watch as they too had fun watching us. Don't know why haven't been this way before people so open and super friendly had a great few hours in local Pub The George. Not far to Peniston for foodie supplies great Cafe that let us take in the hound Art Cafe . All in all a superb weekend no hesitation in saying will return...yes yes yes!!!!

Fabulous

We visited this site last week-end and you would be hard pushed to find a more beautiful and well run CL. The owners Alison and Ashley cannot do enough for you and work very hard to keep the place in top condition. Easy access to the site which stands on the edge of a beautiful village with stunning views from your pitch. The village has fantastic walks in all directions , a great pub (The George) and a cricket field where you can watch a good local game. Ashley will point you in the right direction for a good breakfast and both know the area inside out and can recommend loads to do,places to eat and where to shop. Cannot praise this site too highly, get booked!
