Lovely Peaceful Site

This is a lovely peaceful site in the countryside. It is well kept and tidy. It is near to Southwold , Aldeburgh and Thorpeness , which are all worth a visit. We got a warm welcome from the owners. The shower facilities are excellent. The site is ideal for dog walks. We would be very happy to return to this site.

Lovely and Peaceful

We spent a week at this lovely farm site. It is very well kept, spacious, and wonderfully peaceful. Really nice owners who keep a beautiful garden. The site and lane have some interesting trees some of which the owner planted from seed. The coast, RSPB Minsmere and local attractions are easily cycled to along quiet lanes.

Great Find

We stayed at this site for 4 nights at the end of May. We were impressed by the amount of space we had, the quality of the facilities and the warm welcome. An excellent location for exploring the eastern side of Suffolk.

Peaceful week

We spent 3 nights here early March, was a little windy and chilly but was nice and quiet with lovely views across fields.  The site was a little wet but expected for the time of the year, the owners were very helpful and polite.  Lovely chip shop a few miles down the road in Halesworth.  Will defiantly return when the weather is warmer.

Our Late Summer Retreat

We have spent the majority of the month of August for the past 5 years at Hill House Farm. Perhaps that says a lot about our view of the Site.  The facilities are excellent, the surrounding countryside is both interesting and beautiful with great access to coastal attractions. The owners are friendly, helpful and always happy to talk about the locality; the farm, the crops, conservation and such matters of interest. Of course it is a working farm, however I can truthfully say we have never lost a single minutes sleep, day or night, due to the business of getting in the harvest. In fact as "townies" we have always found it a very interesting process to observe. The night sky is to die for on clear nights due to very low levels of local light pollution.  All in all, a great CL and by the way, we'll be back next year.

Great peaceful time

We arrived at this location after getting lost(do not use the postcode) The toilet block was clean and functional, the campsite itself was immaculate and could not be faulted. Everyone we came into contact with where friendly and helpful and told us about the permissive walks in the area. Great location for those of us with dogs loads of nice walks peace ful and very quiet with lots of wildlife, we would defiantly ruturn, highly recommended for that get away from everything break.
