Ease of arrival/welcome

Very basic site but great value

We had a friendly arrival and introduced to the site, (water and elsan waste) ,we were advised to pitch at the top by the railway as it was flat. Grass was long and car had difficulty towing to the top (grass cut the following day to an acceptable level). We we pitched within 10 metres of the railway which sounds awful but the Tal-Y-Llyn railway isn't exactly your standard affair. A small train gives nothing other than an occasional put-put as it trundles past. There is a bit of a cutting so it is not very visible. We had to find the bins, in front of the smaller house, and it took 5 days to find the toilet which is attached to the house (Black latched door) - this was always clean. The field is huge and you can pitch anywhere, but there is a significant slope and I would advise taking a second cable if you have one to increase options. One major positive is the reasonable pricing, and this was reflected in that this is the first CL in a long time which I have visited which is full. Nice location and views, I would recommend if in the area
