For 'CL', read 'that part of the field with the electric hookups'. Though it didn't really matter, the field was that big there was plenty of room, even on a Bank Holiday weekend. Like it says in the site description, it does slope a bit, so don't forget
your levelling blocks. Some road noise from the nearby A493, but nothing too bothersome. If you're a train buff, or have kids to entertain, the site has its own halt on the Tal-y-llyn railway. Always fun to flag a train down, especially when you can hear the driver and his mate on the footplate discussing whether or not you had your arm out, as the train bears down towards you. For some nice food, walk a mile or so into Tywyn, to the Dine India (the second Indian restaurant you come to). Good food, and pleasantly eccentric staff..
Hendy, Tywyn CL
just spent 9 days at Hendy, where my wife, 2 Grandsons and myself had a really enjoyable stay ~ a warm welcome greeted us and we had a pleasant view from the Caravan, a very clean site with plenty of room for the grandsons to play without annoying fellow Caravaner's ~ Hendy is close to Tywyn where there is a clean Beach and the "Talyllyn Railway" which is well worth a visit ~ hoping to visit again before the end of the season
