This CL is idealy located 5 miles from tenby with lots of lovely beaches close by. The ownersTerry and Sue were very welcoming, Terry kept the site very tidy. The shower is attatched to the house, kept nice and clean by Sue. The site has lovely views and the adjacent meadow is ideal for the dog. There are 2 pubs in walking distance, we tried the Tudor Lodge which was dog friendly and the Thursday steak night was great value for money. Will definitely use this site again.
Seven caravans
A nice site with easy access off the main road. A good size field, well maintained and with many choices of pitch, some with views.
However, when we pay top money (£15) and book well in advance for a 5-‘van site we expect to be sharing the facilities with no more than 4 other ‘vans and not have 7 ‘vans on site.
When I arrived for a stay, booked long in advance, there were already 5 units on site.
The owner explained that one person had asked to stay an extra night because of a local sports event the next day.
However, when that caravan departed the next day it was promptly replaced by two more, so there were now 7 units.
Not only does this reflect badly on the Caravan Club but could jeopardise the Club’s Planning Law exemption to issue site licences.
It is also unfair on other CL owners who do keep to the rules and see their sites under-used.
Enjoyable times
Stayed here for six nights at the beginning of the month. The owners were very helpful and most welcoming. The site is very clean and all facilities were excellent if I had a criticism it would be that the shower and toilet were together so could cause a little inconvenience but this is a minor fault of a very well run site. Just to add to this the weather was superb.
We would definitely visit again.

A very peaceful week
A beautiful, well maintained site with outstanding views. We were made to feel very welcome even though we arrived later than intended and interrupted their evening meal. Our first visit to Pembrokeshire, but not our last. There is so much to see that we have booked this site again in June. Can't wait!

Nice site
My husband, our dog and I stayed on this site for 5 nights over Easter. When we first arrived nobody was around, we tried at the house to no avail. Luckily a man who was already on the site said we could go anywhere we wanted and that the owners were away and the owners daughter was out at the time. Anyway we pitched up on a nice spot over looking a lovely view. Even though the main road is close you hardly ever hear any traffic; we just woke up to bird song every morning. For most of our stay we had the site to ourselves (as the helpful man left on our day of arrival) which was a bonus...all very quiet and peaceful. There is one toilet and shower which was more than adequate for us. The field for our dog was massive and he enjoyed having a run round there every morning. There are many pubs/restaurants near (one within walking distance but it is down the main road). Also great location to view the surrounding areas. All in all we had a lovely holiday and would recommend the site to anyone looking for a bit of peace and quiet.
Heath Cottage You have to go back we have
Great spot for tenby and South pembrokshire really warm welcome this was our second visit this year Yes the water tap is slow but at least you have views to keep you occupied We were in the bottom of site this time as units already on righrt hand side but we had the sun all day and the sunset at night we stayed at end of August and begining of September would have stayed longer but site was full.

Quiet and well-equipped site
Heath Cottage is a superior CL in every way. The location is perfectly situated half-way between the charming resort of Tenby and the town of Pembroke with its castle and docks. It is within walking distance of the village of Jameston with a good sized general store and a first-rate pub (The Swan Lake) with excellent food and free Wi-Fi.
The beach and medieval castle at Manorbier is highly recommended and 10 mins away by car. There are coastal walks along the cliffs in all directions too.
The caravan site itself is behind a pretty cottage in a large field, with 4 bushes in the centre concealing the electric hook-ups. It slopes quite heavily towards the left as seen from the road, and this presented us with quite a problem. No-one was available on our arrival, and there were already 5 large caravans spread out across the site, so we parked our 'van along the hedge to the left of the gate at the bottom, and we had to "borrow" lots of pieces of wood from the garage to get it at all level.
The cost per night for the 'van and 2 adults was £14, and the deposit was £25 (minimum requested), with only cash and cheque being accepted. The other problem was the drinking water tap runs quite slowly, which means a long time filling the tank.
I would definitely recommend this site because of its situation, and the peace and quiet. But try and get a slot at the "top" which is more level!
Friendly owners, great views
Stayed here late March. Nice views, easy access, owners welcoming and friendly. Overall a really good CL, clean and tidy, will certainly visit again.
