Stayed here a few years ago and was thinking of rebooking for this Easter until I saw that it'll cost you £2.00 per night for an extra dog............ for what !....... an extra bowl of water !!!!!!!!!! Not so dog friendly me thinks !!
Anyway when we did arrive way back, we pulled onto the field and went to the left hand side, big mistake !!!!! The field was slightly slopping from right to left and it had obviously been raining, the ground was too soft and had we not had a 4x4 we would of been stuck big style !!! We managed to get out and pitch over the over side and were told by the owners that it is always like that when there has ben plenty of rain !! On the plus side the dog walking field is a nice touch and in the dryer summer months the field would be fine.
Sorry, but it's a no no for me due to the ridiculous cost of a second dog !!!
this is a lovely site with welcoming owners. After all the rain during our stay the entrance became very soft - a load of hard standing type stone would help. It was obvious this was a regular occurrence as ready made signs warning area to soft for access appeared! During our 17 night stay there were 7 units on site 90% of the time - naughty! Having said all that we would use this site again
The owners work very hard to keep the site in good order they are very friendly and are only too happy to help people. The site is clean and tidy with good views the surrounding area has plenty of good beaches. Tenby is about 15 mins by car. We would not hesitate to return to this site.
I would support all the comments relating to this CL. Great views and easy access to Tenby, Pembroke and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. We walked into Tenby along the coastal path and returned by bus which dropped us you right outside the site. We were lucky as the weather over Easter was great. I would not hesitate to recommend this CL to other club members.
We stayed for two nights as part of a 'flying visit' to the Tenby area. This site is lovely, with plenty of space, including two hard standing areas. There is a clean and spacious toilet/shower attached to the owner's house, which can be accessed at any time via a dedicated entrance.
Public transport is available outside the house with the 349 service running between Tenby and Pembroke/Withybush Hospital (at the time of writing fare was £5.50 return for an adult to Tenby).
We only met Terry, but he was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area, especially if you want to visit Tenby/Pembroke/Manorbier Castle ....
Just had 5 nights at this CL. I recommend.
Mr and Mrs Williams were both friendly and welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay.
Great location for visiting the area. Pubs and beaches in walking distance.
Peaceful location, our dog enjoyed the large adjacent field for walks and exploring.
We enjoyed a few days in this very pleasant site. Mrs Williams was very welcoming and helpful. Very relaxed about where we could go in the site and which way round to park. There was plenty of space. There is a single shower/toilet room which Mrs Williams regularly checked. It is a short walk into the village of Jameston with its pub and not a very long walk to the nice coastal village of Manorbier. From there is an interesting and slightly challenging walk to Freshwater with an easier but less pretty walk back by road. We would like to go back to this site.
Back from a recent stay at this wonderful site. Our hostess Sue is charming & very welcoming indeed. Great facilities which are kept spotless, free shower with endless hotwater I would certainly recommend.
Short walk away to the Swan Lake pub, we had an amazing meal here which was very good value for money. Site is approx 15 minutes drive out of Tenby set in rolling countryside, faultless
Had brilliant weeks stay ,made very welcome .
Great location for the area ,lots of walks to nearby areas.
Our dog loved the field opposite
Would definitely recommend,excellent in fact.
Stayed for 4 nights here in Sept and it was delightful. Peaceful and quiet but within easy reach of Tenby, Pembroke and other areas along this beautiful stretch of Wales. Owners Terry and Sue were lovely. There when you needed them but not intrusive - just right. There was some torrential rain during the nights we were there which made the site pretty soggy. One caravanner with a front-wheel drive car had some problems getting in and out again but Terry used his land rover to tow them and all was good. It was extremely heavy rain over several hours so the ground didn't really stand a chance! We have a rear-wheel drive car so had no difficulties getting out at all.
The Ironman Wales competition was on while we were there so Sue had warned me on booking that there would be some road closures on the Sunday. We used that day to go for a lovely walk to Manorbier beach which was stunning and had lots of rock pools for my wife to explore! Can recommend Castle Inn in Manorbier too.
Would definitely recommend this site to anyone wanting to visit this area and we would return without hesitation.
