What a find.

Just back from a two night stay here and I have to say what an absolute find of a site. Jess and Dan were there to welcome us and show us to the pitch, which is on a bit of a slope (with plans for hard standings and water pipes on the way) but the scenery far outways the slope and if you've got your blocks you will be fine. To say it's a working farm with two donkeys(Ronnie and Rosie) also two small lamb's, chicken's and a Cockerell in the the field behind you, we didn't hear a peep out of them unless it was feeding time, but who doesn't make a noise when your hungry. The site it's self is about a 15 min walk into Highley village with all the usual amenities. Also there are various walks for all types of experienced walker and it is on the National cycle route with access to the Severn valley railway and a long the River Severn which leads you to Highley railway station and The Ship Inn which is very dog friendly and also does nice pub food and serves some very nice ales. The site itself is very dog friendly as Jess has a pet dog plus working farm dogs, so don't be put off by a slope it's not called the Severn Valley for nothing!
