Well kept site in lovely surroundings

We used this site as a stop over on the way to Somerset so didn't investigate the area but seemed loads to do locally . When we arrived we went into the site entrance and unfortunately the ground so wet and muddy our motorhome got well and truly stuck. The owner couldn't have been more helpful and towed us out so we could park just outside the CL on hard standing . He then lent us an additional electric cable to reach the point.  Lovely site apart from the mud , excellent dog waking from site and very peaceful

One night stopover

We needed a 1 night stopover after leaving Burford and plumbed for this CL, could not believe our luck. Beautiful views across the country side, very well kept and gallons of space. Dog walks everywhere. If only we had stayed longer, it would have made our fortnight away perfect. Thanks Carolyn for finding as space. PS One other caravanner we met has been there I think he said 8 times, speaks for itself. On our must list for 2015

Beautiful little site

This CL site has a lovely feel to it, it is very well kept and has great views. We met up with family so ages ranged from 2-89, and a good time was had by all. I would definitely recommend this site.

Noisy!

We stayed at the site for three nights at the end of July. Good points - very clean site, nice views of the countryside and being quite small all the facilities were only a short walk away. Bad points- our first night was constantly disturbed by a teenage party in a tent in the adjacent field. It was especially noisy between 12.30 - 3am, and we were awake throughout this time. Consequently, the following day we were too tired to go on our planned tripped to Stratford on Avon. I complained and it was confirmed that the (owner's daughter's) party would not be repeated. There was also significant vehicle movement during our stay but this is to be expected on a working farm.

A "cracker"

Some 5 years or so ago we rallied on the landowners rally field at this site having been preached to by a friend at the time who had nothing but praise for the site, to say I was disappointed on arrival was an understatement.. He was clearly describing the CL... It's absolutely immaculate. The entrance is first class and the pitches are well spaced all looking across the farm land and beyond..slight slope but not severe, minimal blocks required..  We arrived late afternoon and soon pitched enjoying what was left of the sunshine. We had a visit from 3 hens who entertained our Cocker Spaniel for a while. Water Quality is good served at a clean tap, toilet disposal has its own tap too. EHUs are fixed to the perimeter ranch styled fencing.  Bins are also provided, TV signal is fair on free view Altho subject to some scrambling.. No clues to the direction of the nearest mast.. We think the top right hand corner of the CL as you approach is as good as it gets with the van directional ariel. The grass is kept short and well maintained, almost lawn like, this CL whilst not far from Wellesbourne is peaceful and very secluded, if you like the sound of birds and sheep it's just the ticket.. we can't fault it and it's only £11 per night including hook up.. WE WILL BE BACK!!

One Of My Favourite's

This CL is quite local to us and consequently, we use it quite a lot. The site sits amongst beautiful, undulating Warwickshire countryside and is a 'get away from it all' location. The area is criss crossed by public paths so if you enjoy walking, you can throw the car keys away for a bit!! The site itself is slightly sloping but we have never had an issue in getting level. There are ample electric hook ups and now WIFI. I would recommend this site to anyone.

Another fantastic CL

We had an event to attend to nearby so this CL was ideally located. Very friendly welcome from the owner and nicely spaced pitches in the orchard. Great views over the surrounding countryside and very peaceful. Look forward to visiting again, very highly recommended.

A Haven of Quiet

What a wonderful weekend we had on this beautiful CL, but where was everybody. Unsure why the CL was so empty when we arrived, although a couple of vans did arrive/leave over Friday Saturday and Sunday. CLs around Stratford are notoriously difficult to book without advance notice so this CL could be for you if you are touring the area. The owners aren't always around to answer the phone, or door, or respond to messages left, so this could be the reason the site is so empty, not sure. They were very pleasant when met though. A large pitching area so plenty of room to spread out (if needed), and yes some pitches are a little slopey, but not unduly. There's a road track around the pitching area to one side leading to a holiday cottage which did concern us, but apart from a few farm vehicles it was empty. Wonderful to sit and watch the farm workers clearing the fields with their combine harvesters, it was like something out of a movie. Just £11.00 per night, but that is for just EHU and the pitch, there are no other facilities I’m afraid. The WiFi did work Friday night but decided not to after that, not sure why not. Definitely a site to return to.

Peaceful Cl with views

We stayed at this CL in March. The field slopes slightly so leveling blocks might be required. The CL site is down a long drive way which makes it a quiet place to relax and enjoy the wildlife/night sky. On our last morning on site we had terrible rain and ended up having to ask the owners son to tow us off the pitch in his land rover, overall they where very welcoming and friendly, good walks from site. Would definately go back.

Peace reigns

If you want a quiet break this cl is perfect. We have been on numerous occasions and will return again. There is a rally field the other side of the house, so if you want total silence best to check there is not a large rally on as well, although the two are well apart. Enjoy!
