Great new site

We were welcomed by Richard and his dog on arrival who explained everything we needed to know for our stay on his CL. It is a new site right next to a private runway and you can tell that Richard has worked very hard to get it to the standard it is. Lovely pitches close to the fishing pond which will eventually be privately separated off from each other, as new hedging has been planted. The showers and toilet block are kept clean and tidy. The added bonus is the free wifi. We watched a group of para-gliders one morning, which was very interesting. My husband fished a couple of times and caught some nice tench, Another bonus was the fishing was free. Definitely a site not to be missed. Thanks for a great stay.

Loved it here!

Stayed here for a week end of May/early June and fell in love with the place. It’s such a well thought out site in the way the pitches are set out, lovely clean toilets and showers plus the added weekend bonus of watching the light aircraft come and go. Nothing was too much trouble for Richard, he met us on arrival and showed us around. Beautiful site, beautiful views and the most beautiful dog! Unfortunately we had to leave a day early due to a death in the family and Richard even offered a night in credit next time we go but we won’t take it as it wasn’t down to him but we will definitely be returning ❤️

Best Site So Far

Easy to find , easy access , great warm welcome . Richard explained everything and showed us around . Brilliant site by fishing lake and small airfield , lovely scenic views and get to watch Spitfires passing over most days !! Showers (gas not electric) and toilets lovely and clean with quality toilet paper , soap and hot & cold water . Separate Ladies and Gents with same facilities . Also Motorhome emptying point and outside dish washing area with hot and cold .Can't comment on fishing as I don't partake but I was told by another caravanner that lake/pond was full of Tench and the fishing was free ! Can't recommend enough and I will definitely return .

Fabulous CL

What a great find, Hamilton farm is a well presented CL, well thought out, very easy access to large flat pitches. Great shower and toilet block and information room. Plenty of wildlife to watch, good coarse fishing. Occasionally planes take off and land which in itself is entertaining without being disruptive.. Richard himself is very welcoming and informative about the local area. we had peaceful and restful 6 days and will definitely return.

Owner has put in effort to ensure you have a comfortable stay

Hamilton Farm is a peaceful adult site with good access even for our twin axle caravan. The camp field is located next to a pond with electric and water in the field. Next to the field was a brand new shower and toilet block with dishwashing sink. We saw the most beautiful sunsets whilst we stayed here and the mist on the pond early in the morning was stunning. Richard, the owner, was so friendly and was keen to ensure you have a good stay. He owns his own aeroplane and gave us an aerobatic display as he was flying that day. We felt very lucky and honoured. This was such a relaxing place to stay, and they were so welcoming. We have already booked a return visit. Dog friendly. Larger caravans can access. Large pitches, marked by laurels. Beautiful views and sunsets Friendly.

Lovely peaceful site

This site is not open yet, but owner Richard allowed us to stay on the understanding that the facilities were not fully up and running yet. Richard was very helpful and took the time to show us the site. The site has not matured yet, but that didn't matter and we found it very peaceful with far reaching views across the large field. All of the pitches are very generously sized. There is a brand new toilet block with shower facilities and an information office. There's even a couple of sinks (outside but under cover) for washing up. The phone signal varied but was generally okay and we had no problem tuning in Freeview on the TV. While we were there Richard took off in his stunt biplane and performed a loop the loop for our entertainment. Very impressive! There was the occasional light plane coming and going but that wasn't a problem or even very noisy and it helped make our stay more interesting. We will definitely be returning another day. Finally, the roads leading to the site were good - no nasty narrow sections to meet a tractor on!
