Perfect

Lovely site peaceful, big pitches so lots of room, fishing is excellent, and entertainment, planes taking off and landing hot air balloons and paragliders all in one day, lovely walks with your dog on lead as there are sheep and roaming chickens, but have had a lovely week if you could sort the weather next time as well please!!

Just Brilliant

Our first time on a CL site and this one was absolutely brilliant. Very friendly people, dogs and chickens! Superb location, very peaceful and aircraft to watch as well. Couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Richard, we will be back!

A wonderful CL site

We had our first visit to Hamilton Farm CL site just after the Easter break in April 2021 It’s been one of the best CL sites we have visited and a wonderful welcome by the owner Richard. If you love fishing they have a number of lakes and being a private airfield you have the occasional small aircraft visit if you a into theses activities which we are. The pitch is yours to set up as you want without it being to regimented. Being adult only it was very quiet and relaxing so much so that we will be going back next year again. Thanks to Richard for your hospitality. Yours CJ and JT

Can’t wait to go back!

We arrived on Friday and was shown to our pitch by Richard (we were on number 2) which is right opposite the fishing lake and fields. 75 acres of fields and lakes, you are free to roam the whole place including the fields with the sheep, lovely area to walk your dogs. Also free range chickens and roosters so you are asked to keep your dogs on dogs a lead. The chickens aren’t shy either. There is an old WW2 landing strip on site with small airplanes still landing there and We were lucky enough to see a couple land/take off. The showers were closed (covid) but toilets and washing up facilities were open and extremely clean. This is a very laid back adults only site and we can’t wait to return. Thanks Richard

Perfect Site

Hamilton Farm Airfield & CL is probably one the very best CLs we have ever visited. Richard Thomas, the helpful owner, has developed his site to a high standard. The showers & information room were open with plenty of hand sanitisers to use. The CL is well landscaped with good views over fields, an attractive fishing lake, and has the added interest of a private airstrip adjacent. The pitches are mostly screened with hedges, some have hard-standing, and new trees have been planted. We found it very peaceful and friendly. Although in a quiet rural area, the CL is within easy reach of the coast and other parts of Kent, with easy connections via the M20. We enjoyed using the local lanes too and found some delightful villages round about. Would thoroughly recommend this CL.

Fabulous couple of nights away

We have just arrived home from this lovely CL. The pitches are spaced out giving you plenty of room and privacy. Richard is really friendly and helpful giving us advice on local dog walks and places to see. We saw a couple of planes land/take off which was great fun to watch!! We will be back when it's not as hot (this weekend was 34 degrees) to walk more of the Saxon shoreline and head for a walk to the Royal Military Canal. The site is really peaceful and relaxed, you can park in your area however you like, no rules as to what way to face so my advice is to park up so that you can watch the amazing sunset!

It's the dogs

One if not the best of many CL we have used in 40 years of membership, Richard is a super host makes you feel like a friend not a customer and nothing is to much trouble for him, much thought has gone into the layout and amenitys available with the extras of a fishing lake and the planes, this was our first visit but we will definitely be back

Wonderful CL site

We have been visiting this site for 3 year's,and it is always a pleasure we live locally, but would travel long distance to be there, Richard and Julie are always friendly and helpful, and the on-site facilities are the best we have used, having stayed in many CL sites, fishing is good, best to fish on light gear to get the most enjoyable day, when you do find the carp it's really good fun, plenty of other course fish to catch, even being local the walking and cycling is still good, watching the aerobatics, and sunset is a treat, will be back soon.

A wonderful 4 day break

We have just enjoyed four nights at this very quiet and spacious site. We even saw a vintage plane take off and land. Quite thrilling to see a plane taxiing past our caravan! With Romney Marsh close by we were able to do a lot of cycling on flat, quiet roads. Richard, the owner is very friendly and helpful. Don’t miss a visit to the Bilsington Priory for lovely views and a delicious cream tea! We would definitely stay here again.
